Disney day 3

We got to Disneyland early on our last day and lined up on Main Street.

Our first ride of the day was Splash Mountain.  There was no line and the castmember let us ride twice.

You can't go to Disneyland and not get a picture in front of the castle.

We both made a wish in Snow White's wishing well.

But my wish hasn't come true yet...

We had our second monte cristo sandwich at Cafe Orleans for lunch.  And looking back at it, it was a bad idea to eat two during our trip.  They loaded us up with the fried food and gave us Mickey shaped fried bread for our anniversary.

Then we headed back to DCA and went on Goofy's Sky School.

We made a stop in Carsland and Scott tried on an awesome hat.  But really, who would walk around wearing a big orange cone hat on their head?!

We ended our night at Disneyland.

We waited for the parade and got to sit front row on Main Street.

The next day we went to Knott's Berry Farm.  We didn't take any pictures though.  We stopped at 6 Flags before we went home since we have season passes.  This trip was so fun and a great surprise.

Disney day 2

We started our second day at DCA and headed straight to Radiator Springs Racers. I stood in line for the ride and Scott stood in line to secure fast passes for us to use later that day.  We probably waited a good 45 minutes to an hour to ride it in the morning.  This ride is super cute and super fun.  The only thing I don't like about it is that every time we ride it, we get stuck with a single rider next to us.

Scott wanted to ride Woof Mountain which is really Grizzly River Run.  I didn't want to wait in the line because it was pretty long and I also didn't want to get wet.  I rode it in the end and did get wet!

Later that night we decided to hit up Toon Town.  We rode Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spind and Gadget's Go Coaster.  Neither ride had a line so it was awesome.  Although I felt a little silly on the Go Coaster, w e barely fit in the car with our long legs!

We toured Minnie's house first, then went over to Mickey's house.

Disney day 1

On our first day at Disneyland we actually used our magic morning, unlike our honeymoon!

We hit up all the rides in Fantasy Land.

We decided to wear our Mickey and Minnie ears, but it only lasted the first day.  Everyone kept thinking we just got married because we were wearing them.

We were spinning super fast on the teacups.

We made sure to do Peter Pan before the line got too huge.

We even went on the carousel, but I didn't get to ride Jingles like I wanted to.

We shared a car on Autopia and I got to drive

I have wanted to go inside Innoventions for awhile, but no one ever wants to go.  I remember going as a kid and thinking it was kind of cool.  I made Scott go with me this trip!

We did Luigi's Flying Tires.  And you guys, it was about as lame as I thought it would be.  Not that fun, but maybe for little kids.

We also ate Monte Cristo Sandwiches at Cafe Orlean's, with was Monte Cristo number 1 of the trip.

1 Year!

On March 9th we celebrated our first anniversary.  Our first year of marriage went by so fast.  Scott surprised me with an anniversary trip that was a duplicate of our honeymoon.  He was planning this trip for months, so I was shocked he kept it a secret the whole time.  Scott faked sick on Sunday so I went to church by myself.  Scott picked me up early from Young Women to start our trip.

Our first stop was Overton so we could eat dinner and pick up our wedding cake.

We stayed the night at the Trump in Vegas.  Scott even asked for the same room we had a year ago.

We ate our year old wedding cake, which was pretty gross.  I only ate 2 bites.

The next day we ate lunch at the same pizza place at New York New York before starting the drive to Anaheim!

Six Flags Magic Mountain

Scott and I have Six Flags season passes this year, which has been quite fun.  We went back in November with the Knight's.  We went again in February with two of our friends Nick and Kelli.  We found some cheap hotel rooms to stay at near Six Flags.  We didn't expect them to be great rooms based on price, but they were terrible.  The sheets had blood on them in our room and they wouldn't give us new ones!  Not to mention they smelled like smoke.  The hotel said we could get a refund, but couldn't get new sheets.  I don't understand that, but we left and found a new hotel down the road that was a lot nicer.

 We spent the next day going on roller coasters at Six Flags.

 We rode Superman.  It seriously goes straight up and down!

 Scottie's hair was a little crazy after Superman.  We had a lot of fun going on the rides.

 The next day was Sunday and we stopped at the beach before driving back to Phoenix.

 We walked out on the pier and took some pictures.

 Then we went out on the beach to the ocean.  It has been a long time since I have been to the beach.  It was a lot of fun even though it was cold and we didn't go swimming.

 I wrote a message in the sand for Scott.

 Sadly this is the only picture I took that had Nick and Kelli in it.  We should have taken a group picture.

 I want to go back to Six Flags this summer to go to the water park Hurricane Harbor.  It is right by Magic Mountain and would be so fun.  I think a trip to the beach would be a must too.
