Nick's daycare is the best - actaully it is the greatest daycare.
Dennis & I and most importantly Nicholas love it......ABC's, 1 -25, his full name (which is a mouthful for a 2 1/2 year old) our full address, Nick speaks in full sentences and he can sign...........not only Momma & Poppa, please & thank you & various letters of the alphabet but much to our surprise when Dennis was taking him for a haircut and they were walking in Poppa asked him to say "Happy Thanksgiving" Nicholas said Happy Thanksgiving and signed it as well!

He has picked up a few of our habits.........

Nicholas' First Halloween

Last year we chose not to celebrate Halloween since Nicholas was only home 2 weeks - I really didn't think it was a good idea as I didn't want to overwhelm him.

So this year was his first Halloween & a great time was had by all!!

Nicholas' day care had a Halloween party & parade and I'm so glad I was able to attend - his daycare is great and they throw an awesome party.

All I can say is our son is the most precious, lovable little boy in the world and Dennis & I thank God every minute of every day for our son - our blessing and the light of our lives.

Nicholas is the Sun, the Moon, the Stars and everything that we could have hoped and dreamed of & the love we have for him is overpowering. We talk often about how this one perfect little boy is the greatest gift from God and truly count our blessings every single minute of every single day for granting us the blessing of Nicholas Joseph. We love this child more than anything in the world.

Nicholas has been home for nine months and I have so much to write about - truth be told I have 2 draft posts waiting to finish but I didn't want to miss this very special day.....here of some random photos to enjoy!

Mother's Day, May 10th, 2009

Mother's Day was everything I new it would be.....I have a beautiful little boy who I can't love more and who loves me a whole bunch and he now tells me........

I have always wanted a charm bracelet and what a wonderful surprise to get this.......we will add on to it with milestones over Nicholas' life.........

Not one to brag but yes I must.....

Not only can Nicholas count pretty well up to 25 but if we ask him to count how many of something he can actually count - I'm thinking this is great for a child of 2.

Nicholas will say excuse me to put his little step up to the bathroom sink - this one I must give credit to daycare as they work on manners every day.

Mexico, April 18 - 25th, 2009

As I mentioned in my earlier post Dennis won a trip to Rivera Maya in Mexico (25 minutes south of Cancun). We didn't know how the little man would do with the traveling so silly me I pushed for a connecting flight just in case we had an issues. I figured time in between to regroup if need be.....very silly of me....he has more air miles then most and he did terrific and flying was pretty much a breeze. No issues with the little man with no real meltdowns which was great......
