It's been a long time....

I has been over a year since my last post. A lot has happened.

Let's see... we adopted a baby which I posted a pic and then I got laid-off from my job of nine years a month after Dylan came home from the hospital. Spent 10 months at home with Dylan which were wonderful but I became stir crazy at the end.

I took a 1 month contract job assignment, the pay was good, the work was boring, but anything is better than what unemployment pays. Took anther 3 weeks break at home and then in February landed a long-term (thru the end of the year) contract position with a very large company not to far from home. Now it's almost September and I'm still here and told I should become full-time by December. Yipee!

Had fun bonding and spending time with Dylan and being at home when Logan got out of school was good for both of us.

Now school is back in, Logan is in 3rd grade and Dylan is almost 18 months old.

Baby Dylan is here. Born 8:30 am Monday, March 23, 2009. Weighed in at 5.12 lbs & 18.4" long. Dylan is doing wonderful. He should be coming home on Thursday & we are all very excited.

Hubby got new toy yesterday...

Bought a '71 Chey truck (Hot Rod) so he & Logan and rebuild it.

Sunday, March 1st

22 days & counting until Dylan Lanye is here. We are very excited to meet him & looking forward to taking him home and introducing him to the rest of his new family.

We completed the painting in his room, Logan our 7 yr. old helped & it looks great. Set up the crib but need to get mattress. Bought some diapers today. Hubby needs to finish his attic project so we can move the rest of the guest bedroom furniture in it to store so we can finish the nursery.

Lots to do with 3 weeks to go.

26 days to go until our newest member to our family will arrive. We are adopting a little boy. He is scheduled via C-section to arrive Monday, March 23rd.

We are all very excited to meet him.
