I'm on a roll with this whole blogging thing! (I won't speak too soon though.)
Well, I'm not really sure what's going on with Jonah, but last night when I went to pick the kids up from school, he told me he had a good day without me even having to ask him how his day was or anything! He told me that he wanted to go back the next day....that's good, I guess. And I guess Baby Girl had a good day at school too cause she didn't say otherwise.....heehee!
So I got the kids some balloons that were like 15 cents on clearance at HEB.....nice! They had been wanting to play with balloons, so I just got them some cheap ones that they could "POP" and it wouldn't matter, not that popped cheap balloons are in that big of a demand, but still. So anyway, the kids have been playing with these balloons for past couple of nights religiously! They love them! So, I guess if I can entertain my kids with cheap balloons, all the better for Jason and I!
Last night when I was taking a shower, Jonah walked into the bathroom. All I heard was the door open and the potty lid open. I asked, knowing it was either Jason or Jonah cause Baby Girl was already asleep and there were only two other "potty trained" people in the house, I asked, "who's there?" And this little person's voice, aka: Jonah, said "me." So I asked, "who's 'me'?" And he said, "me Mommy." So again I asked, "me Mommy who?" So he finally replied, "me, Jonah Willis Pace!" THEN I knew exactly who it was......heehee. :o) I love having fun with the kids like that!!
Not too sure that I mentioned that I had gotten hurt at our last kickball game. First of all, I hurt my finger somehow when I was trying to get the ball and it started bleeding...not too concerned about that cause it's feeling much better now. But, I hurt my calf after attempting to make the home run kick out the field Saturday! I guess my calf cramped up when I went to kick the ball and I started running to first base and it pulled the muscle or something, but I only made it half way to first base and stopped in the dug out cause the pain was more than I could handle! So, needless to say, I haven't been able to run this past week. :o( I've been nursing it...wrapping it, iceing it, elevating it, and praying that it will feel better.....it still hurts a little today, but I can at least put pressure on it. I'm not ready to run on it though, but maybe this weekend!

Just the Way God Made It
It's Tuesday already and boy are we tired! We spent much of the weekend looking at properties and didn't even find one!! Jason and I had "off" yesterday so that we could spend a nice meal without it getting cold first or having to wipe hands or go to the potty as soon as our meal arrives.....awww, so nice to eat my meal WARM! Jason and I had a good day, we went to our favorite Italian restaurant and then met our realtor to look at more properties......I know you all know how romantic Jason is, but that's what I wanted to do for our Anniversary!
When we went to get the kiddos, Jonah said that he wanted to go to school every Monday! I'm not really sure what happened that was so good to him yesterday, but as long as he wants to keep going to school, that's fine by us! We took the kids to eat dinner and Jonah ate and ate and ate some more! He must be growing.....
And Baby Girl, well, she fussed and "complained" the majority of the meal! She's so clingy with her Mommy! She HAS to know where I am at ALL times...if she even loses sight of me, she'll start crying! Of course, I do the same thing with her and chocolate, so I guess that's where she gets it from!
Jonah started "Jesus school" this weekend...it's a Pre-school Worship class for 3-5 year olds. They teach them little lessons, make crafts and get to eat a snack, while the Mommies and Baby Sister's go to church. Jonah LOVES it! He always starts at the same tables though.....the snack tables! He learns alot in there and came home saying that he loved God! So, at least I know he has God in his heart! Sometimes....I don't know if I've told yall this story before or not....but sometimes when he sees rays of sunlight shining through the clouds, he'll say, "look Mommy, there's God!" I kinda told him that those rays were God sending his love down on everyone, so he thinks that too! It's just too cute when he says it because when he's sitting on his sister or talking back to his Mommy or Daddy (and yes he does talk back despite what you all think, he may "see" God but sometimes, the little devil in him sneaks a peek out!) it makes me think that we are actually doing this whole "raising of kids" thing right!
And I absolutely LOVE to use this on the kids......sometimes Jonah will ask a question that you can't really explain unless it's some kind of scientific answer that neither I nor you could answer and we were like rocket brainiacs.....and I'll tell him, "that's just the way God made it, Sweetie!" And he TOTALLY accepts that answer! It's kinda a "catch all answer" for all those questions that we really don't need an answer for!
Well, better go for now, gotta go get my babies! Blog ya later!

Happy Anniversary!
Well, it's been 7 years since Jason and I said our "I do's".....and we have much to be thankful for! We have great kids, good jobs, great friends, and supportive families! So enough about us, I mean after all, you didn't log in today to read about Jason and I....so on to more cute stuff--OUR KIDS!
I wish you could all be like little flies in our house sometimes because our kids do the cutest and funniest things! It's just random little things and there are too many to blog or even to explain for that matter! So I'm just giving you the "highlights"......
Requay is talking SO much these days and is doing SO much more than Jonah was doing at this age. I'm sure it's because of Jonah that Requay finds the need to want to "read" something while sitting on her little potty or throws balls in the house even though it's rule to NOT throw balls in the house! Our kids are just growing up so fast and unless I have my laptop right there when things are happening, I tend to forget.....sorry, I'm gonna do my best though!
Requay saw me typing and felt the need to type something herself.....See I told yall she was talking more and more these days!

This morning Requay was in the bathroom and Jason walked in to see what she was up to and Requay shut the door, or she attempted to shut the door, but Jason's foot was in the way and it didn't close, so Requay told Jason "moooo" which of course, meant "moooove"! Demanding little thing she is!
We went to look at houses on our Anniversary....how romantic, but I'd rather find a house! Well, one of the places we went to see was just land, but there was an above ground well on it. Jason went to go "check it out" and Jonah was looking out the window saying, "that's not a well, wells are blue and big," and live in the water....Jonah thought Jason was saying "whale" but it was actually "well"! It did kinda sound like whale though! It was funny!!
Well, I better post this blog before all the info in it gets too old! So, until a later blog.....so long!

"ATTACKED!"
WOW--2 DAYS OF BLOGGING IN A ROW!!! You should all be excited!
Ok, so I should really be working and if my supervisor, John, asks--tell him I'm working! I guess I just got so excited about putting pictures of the kiddos on the blog, that I felt the desire to blog some more!
Last night when I went to get the kids, I had to sign an "incident report" because Requay had a scratch on her little cheek (the one on her face). The report was too funny--it said that Requay was playing with a toy and another child took it away from her so Requay tried to get it back, but the other child--this is the direct quote as stated on the incident report--the other child "attacked Requay, scratching her on her right cheek." How aggressive are these kids these days in daycare and am I gonna have to put Baby Girl in some kind of self-defense class or what! I barely even noticed the scratch but I thought it was funny reading the report. :o)
And Jonah, well, he's doing well! He keeps asking to play "Membory"--that's "Memory" to you and I. He's been playing it randomly when he can get away with playing it without his baby sister messing everything up! He is getting so big and I can't believe that next year he will already be starting school!! These past four years just completely f-l-e-w by!! My baby's gonna be in kindergarten next year--I don't want to talk about it, I'll start crying........

Cheesy Pictures!
Well, I think I've officially become a bad "Mother Blogger"! It's been so long since I've been on here and I'd like to say that my babies have done absolutely nothing in the past week, but you and I know better than that! So let me think......
Let me back up to last weekend (I know it's fixing to be this weekend already), but we had a FULL weekend! I had a 3:00 pm kickball game on Saturday, September 8, 2007, and then my friend Angela came into town for a women's two person race on Sunday. We stayed up late Saturday night and then were out for our "adventure race" first thing Sunday morning! We did better than we expected for our first race like this....it was a run, water/raft part, run and obstacle course and we did it in 56 minutes! Yeah, it sounds impressive but there were teams that did the whole thing in 32 minutes!! So after the race, we raced home and ate lunch and then the family and I went to take pictures at my church--we were getting a free 8x10 picture--and really that's all we got cause the kiddos were not cooperating with the photographer so we didn't buy any other pics! Oh well, we'll plan the holiday photos now!
Oh, yeah, forgot to mention, my friend Nita.....she got Baby Girl a "Get Well" gift for last week's little EMS ambulance trip she took--it was a huge thing of cheese balls!! It was actually bigger than Baby Girl herself! I didn't know cheese balls were sold by the "barrel"! The kiddos and Jason have already enjoyed over half of that huge thing already!
(I hope the pics came out ok....I'm still working on figuring this whole blog and picture thing out!)

Happy Labor Day!
Ok, so now that I have caught everyone up on Baby Girl, back to the cute stuff and the long weekend!
We didn't have any big plans or anything for the Labor Day Weekend, we did have our family reunion down south, but we weren't able to make it and it was probably a good thing with Jason being sick the majority of last week (oh yeah, Jason got sick last Sunday and stayed in bed until Wednesday morning when he forced himself to get up and go to work) and then Baby Girl having to make that trip to the hospital and all! And it was overcast and predicted to rain the majority of the weekend, so we planned on catching up on things around the house! We ran errands most of the day Saturday and I'm pretty sure we spent the day in the truck, but we got alot done! The boys got their hair cut, Requay and I went "shopping" at the thrift store near the barber shop, we ate at our favorite Vietnamese restaurant, we went to Academy and to Half Price Books--they were having an awesome sale! (Oh and I did go running Saturday morning--it was so nice and cool outside that I didn't want to come home!)
On Sunday, the kids and I went to church and Baby Girl was a little terror in church! She didn't listen to a word that Father said I'm sure of it! I cleaned house Sunday, Jason entered stuff into the computer and the kids managed to mess up whatever I had just cleaned! :o) And then we headed off for pizza and to get some much needed stuff from Walmart (well, I really thought I needed all that stuff!) We didn't get home until late and decided that we would "sleep in" today, Monday! Usually sleeping in for us, it like 8:00 am or maybe sometimes 8:30 am! Well, today we got to sleep until almost 10:00 am!!! (I had woken up around 9 though just to make sure my babies were still breathing cause it's so not like them!)
We haven't done much today, we were going to go to the lake, but there's an 80% chance of rain today, so we'll probably just try to go watch a movie instead! We'll see and I'll catch ya up on more later. So until then, hope you all have a good Labor Day Weekend!
