Kids in September

We had a barbecue at Davis' parents house and Miss Jane was in LOVE with Emme.  She was so cute, wanted to hold her and kiss on her.

They played like this for quite a while.

 This picture is my favorite.  Warren went to play with Emme (like he always does) and Jane pushed his hand and said, "Don't touch!"  Warren was super confused and Jane just said what her Daddy kept telling her (for the last 15 minutes....lol)  It was awesome!

 Ady got her first smile on September 9th!!!  She was so happy and proud!

 Warren was throwing a HUGE temper tantrum and decided to hide in the cupboards.  He had pulled all the rubbermaids out of a cupboard just prior and tried to climb in but it didn't work so he went here.  He was mad at me because he wanted a hard boiled egg but there were none and he couldn't figure out why mom wouldn't let him get the ones in the fridge.  When I went to take a picture he smiled and popped out.  Silly boy.

Matt also got his first smile out of Emme on September 9th.  Such a fun day for this boy.  He has been disinterested when Bennett and Warren were born.  At the beginning he was the saem with Emme but he warmed up and she has him wrapped!!!!

Emmerson's Baby Blessing

We blessed Emmerson on September 8th.  It was a great blessing, Davis did a good job.  He got choked up in the beginning and later I said, "Did you get choked up thinking this was your last one?"  And he said, "Yes!"  I love this picture of her with us.  She's showing off her crooked lips (just like Daddy's)!!

 Shot without.  This dress was the dress I was blessed in almost 36 years ago.  We bought the headband and leggings.  I painted her nails and made a cute bracelet.  She's not wearing it because we couldn't find where it was put (it was in the bag with her dress, but someone took everything out because they were excited and misplaced the bracelet.  Names will not be given out.)  Oh well, she was super cute without it.

Love this little girl.  We are so blessed to have her apart of our family.

It was a long day and this is how I found her.  I took the picture mostly to remember that she pulled the headband down at the end of the blessing and screamed.  She was not happy!!!

6 Weeks

Miss Emmerson is 6 weeks old.  Time sure goes fast.  I took a few pictures of her yesterday so I could get something printed for my wall.  I love this shirt.  Especially since I call her monkey.  She is a great eater and sleeper.  Such a fun and happy baby.  The kids still adore her...sometimes a bit too much.  We love having this sweet girl in out family.

3 weeks

On Saturday, August 10 we went to Davis' work party.  They had a barbecue lunch, prizes, carnival games, bounce houses, all you can eat snow cones, sodas and cotton candy, face painting, little train rides, mini golf

.  It was hot but fun.  I spent most of the day in the shade with Emmerson.  Davis took the kids to all the activities.

 The train broke soon after their ride was over.  I was happy it was after because Warren and Bennett really wanted to ride the train.  It was the first thing they asked about.

Ady got a vampire face.

Bennett was proud of his lion face and Matt was a zombie.

 This little cutie it 3 weeks old and a morning person.  She smiles a lot in the morning and I was finally able to get it on camera.  It makes my heart happy to see her smile like this.

 This is about 2 weeks old.  She is definitely a 6 child.  She does not like to be left alone (cries if she can't see someone...prefers that someone to be Mom.)  She also cries if she is put down for very long (by Mom)  We are working on it but I can't stand her little cry and I enjoy holding her.  I can't get enough of this little girl.

Emmerson Kiersti

Baby Emme came July 21, 2013.  We decided to be induced since she wasn't coming on her own.  I'm glad we did because I don't think she would've come anytime soon without my water being broken.  I labored for 4 hours and didn't do anything.  Dr broke my water and I went from a 5 to a 10 in 10 minutes.  It was intense.  She weighed in at 7 lbs even (that's what Adylin weighed.) 19.5 inches.  She is perfect in every way.  The kids love her and are still happy to hold her and talk to her.  They hate when she cries and Warren gets upset when she is fussy.  He is always trying to give her a binkie.

 My friend came and took some pictures the next day.  They turned out super cute and the kids were excited to get their pictures taken.  Ady loves her so much.  She's had a cold and it's been terrible she can't hold her.  She is finally feeling better and all is right in the world.  LOL

This little guy loves his baby.  He is so happy and excited.  I have so many pictures of him smiling while holding her.  The novelty still hasn't worn off.  He now reads books to her and talks to her all the time.

Ady and I painted our nails just before I had Emme so we needed Emme's toes to match ours!

 My friend Kaylene came to the birth.  So did Ady.  She was super helpful explaining things to Ady.  I think it was a great experience.  Ady loved everything but cutting the cord, she refused to do that....chicken!!!

 My nephew Seth was visiting my parents and he was in love.  He came over after we got home and held her for a bit.  I think he would've held her all day.

We survived!!!!

Saturday was a very special day for our family.  Especially Adylin!!!!!

 She has been looking forward to this day for a while now.  It turned out fabulous but I slacked in the picture department.  It was a busy day.

 This is Ady's favorite little buddy Everly.  These two are two peas in a pod.  Super sweet, fun and at times "a handful".

 This is one of Ady's favorite people.  I think she's had a crush on him for as long as I can remember.  She was so excited that he was able to speak at her baptism before he leaves on him mission.  He did a fabulous job!!!  We love you Cousin Zach!!!!

 We were super happy that this great guy stepped in at the last moment to give our second talk.  Ady's first choice was Uncle Alex but he got a terrible migraine that morning and just couldn't function.  We are so happy Uncle Scott was able to fill in.  He did a fabulous job!  We are so lucky to have the best Uncles ever!!!!

 The last set of great grandparents!  We fill blessed to have them here with us.  Ady really likes this Grandpa.  She asks all the time when we're going to go visit them.  We need to start mowing their lawn again this summer so we can go play and visit every other week.

 This is another one of Ady's crushes.  She specifically asked to take an invite to him.  She has known this sweet boy from the moment we brought her home.  He would hold and snuggle her at church most Sundays.  They have a very special bond.  I thought she would forget about him when our ward changed, but she would seek him out at school most days.  This last year he went to Jr High and I for sure thought she would forget about him but Nope!!!she still seeks him out whenever she can.

 Ah we love our Aunt Kristy!  She's the reason why we have our handsome Zach!!!!  I'm so glad I got a few pictures before they had to leave.

 Aunt Louise and Uncle John are like Grandparents!  This little girl has so many people that love her so much.  We were so happy they could come and join in this special day.

 I didn't get any pictures at the luncheon, though it turned out great.  I"m pretty bummed I didn't get pictures for Aunt Mindy.  We were sad she couldn't make it.  After everything was cleaned up I realized we didn't have a picture of Ady in her dress!!!  So my friend was very nice and took a few pictures.  The boys were in the car at this point....Warren was sooooo done.  He fell asleep the second we got home.  I love this sweet girl so much.  She really has been a joy in our family.  She has taught me many lessons and I'm sure there are many more to come.  We definitely have our ups and downs but we are working on trying to have more ups!!!  She is super excited to meet her sister.  We are so happy baby Emme didn't come today. :)  She can come now!!!!!

Davis loves this little girl so very much.  They definitely have a great Daddy Daughter relationship.  She'll choose Daddy over anyone any day!  We are so lucky to have a Daddy that can baptize us!!!  This truly was such a special day.  Ady got a little emotional while we sang "When I am baptized".  I was trying so hard to hold it together until I saw her trying to keep the tears back.  She is such a sweet and sensitive little girl.  She was sad her friends couldn't make it.  She is a little missionary and invited a few little girls in the ward that don't come to church often.  She wanted so much for them to see what an amazing thing being baptized is.  I'm sure she will continue to touch their hearts in so many ways.

To finish off the weekend, on Sunday Tanner received the priesthood.  I once again slacked in the picture department.  Maybe next week I can snag a picture of him in his nice new suit.  We are so proud of both of our kids and the choices they are making.  This weekend was the highlight of being a parent.  It makes all those difficult moments worth it.  I'm so glad to have gotten through this weekend without any hiccups (baby coming.)  We are now very ready for her to come.  The kids are getting super excited!  I'm officially pregnant the longest.  But then again we don't have a great due date to go off.  Right now my DR is going off the 23 of July which puts me at almost 39 weeks but the ultrasounds I have weekly put me closer to my July 29th date which now puts me at 38 weeks.  I have never passed the 37 week mark!  Surprisingly I am still content with being pregnant.  My dr offered to induce tomorrow the 16th but I didn't feel right about it.  He really doesn't want me going past the 23 so I'm sure we will talk induction at my appt this Thursday.  I guess we'll see how I feel about it then. :)  He is convinced I will be begging him to induce.  LOL
