Ginny is 6 now! I can't believe it! We had a fun weekend celebrating her birthday.
On Friday she had a celebration at school and we took cupcakes. They do a great Montessori tradition of talking about each year of your child's life as she walks around the "sun". Here are some pictures of her sun and her globe she carried as she walked around the sun.
Then lunch at Spicy Thai, our favorite family restaurant.
Then a surprise visit to get her hair done, then pictures by my talented cousin Melese, which I'm excited to see.
Pain comes with beauty. But it was worth it in the end for those cute curls.
She spent the night with her grandparents. We met up at the mall where they were laden down with bags from Gymboree. then off to the Hansen Planeterium in Salt Lake for fun, movie and dinner. Sunday was dinner with Grandma K. She is so loved. We are glad to have her as our daughter. Thanks to a fabulous birthmother for her ultimate sacrifice and gift of love. We love you, Ashlee!
