When you've hit not only your deductible for the year, but also your out of pocket max what else is there but to just get that umbilical hernia repaired already?! She did great and I have to admit this was easier than the tonsils!!

First Day of School!
Can't believe that summer is over already. But then again SO glad it is. They were ready, I was ready..... now just need preschool to start for Madi in a couple of weeks. (She couldn't be left out of all the first day fun!)
And nothing makes a boring day spent just with mom get a little better than finding out there are pink princess fishy crackers!
New Hair do...
White girls - we simply don't know how easy we have it. She is one tough cookie to hold still for this, but it turned out great.

They're outtttaaaaaa therrrrreeee!
Tonsils and adenoids are gone. It's been a crazy road to recovery for her. We are a week out and she has yet to sleep through the night with it. Oh well. Once she heals all the way she won't snore as bad and hopefully that will help.

(She wanted to paint. Right after this she was in melt-down mode.)
She's at it again
She's known (and not just in our family) for the chaos she can cause. The other day Sam had just give Shadow a bath only 2 hours before this lil' darling decided to glue the dog. Yes, you are reading that right. She GLUED the dog. Poor Shadow had glue stick all over her fur that made it stick up all over like horrible grooming accident. She was sticky from her nose to her tail. The poor dog had to go back into the bath.
But that's not all! Oh no! Just a couple of days previous to this she decided to flush a whole bunch of plastic balls down the toilet. And kept trying to fix her mistake by continuous flushing. She was in the basement and so we didn't hear any of this going on. But all of a sudden one of the boys started screaming about the water flood that was now in the basement. That Sunday was not a day of rest as it took HOURS for Dan to clean it up. Where was I you might ask? Well I was sick that day and couldn't help so when I say Dan cleaned it up I mean he really did. All. By. Himself. The one bright note to this is that we have stained concrete as our finished flooring in the basement. So at least there wasn't any other damage (like if there had been carpeting or the like).
But yeah, that's our girl. Always getting into something.

Cabins!
Our tradition of going to the Uintahs. Kids had so much fun. I'm just glad all the laundry from the event is done.
We had marshmallow wars, sleepovers with Bam Bam, hikes, monster hunts and of course spent a lot of time on Grandpa's ATVs. It was a fun, dirty mess of a good time.
