Blow out and Panning

You have to changed the ISO to 50, the aperture to F8, and the shutter speed to 1/2.5. You have to change the shutter speed and ISO panning to caputure the best moment. When using this trick you must have everything around your subject bright and with alot of light and it should also have blur. It is a very creative panning. The difficult thing about panning was trying to get every thing in the picture and not blur it all out.

Shutter Speed

Shutter light makes it so that you can see the light in the picture it defines light. You have to have the area around you dark so that you do have other light messing you up. It you don'y do that thing the light that you move a roung will not show up in the picture. It was a fun new thing to learn about the camera. I don't have a favorite one i have two. It is the second one of me and the one of Kyle the third one.

Apeture

When it come to Apeture you have to think of the Lens as you own personal eye. When you have the light flashing in the picture with change the lighting in the photograph. The size of the Apeture in the flower is large because as you see the background blurs out. The smaller the number the depth the field.

Surrealism "Unspoken Of World"

In this piece you see me reaching up at the puppet for help. The puppet just sits on the horse reaching back at me. The background filled with warm and cool colors. The tree blending in with the sky as though it was one and it still stands out. It looks as though I am reaching for my life and the puppet was my knight and shinning armor. The ground look like a lot of rock just got thrown together on the floor and glued together. The horse looks so evil but is being controlled by my savior. It stands right in front of me looking four feet taller than me. The moon is being covered by a thick red cloud and with all that is it is raining. You can not barley see the look on my face but you can see the fear.

Art Show: Social Issue

Out of all the project I have created in digital photography this is the best I feel that people will understand it. Its not just any photo it actually mean something and the quote give you more of an idea what it is. In this photo the rose reprsents the dry, dull, and emptness. The quote its self sums it up. "I Don't Like The Way You Love Me" can mean any of thing but the way I used it is different. This is saying that the person that they love is raping them and they don't like it. I pick this piece so that people can realize the affect it has on the people it happens to. I also want to use this as a nessage to inspire people who this is happening to to speak up about it and don't be a victiom

Si Se

In my "Si Se Puede" cover is different from everyones elses because of the top of it its texture. It looks like magic on the top and than real at the bottom. The strength on my cover was the texture.

I started this personal quilt rough because I didn’t know what to do it took me like a week just to start on the inside me quilt. Then when I was almost done I look at it and had to start over because I did like the way it came out so I went deep inside me and thought. My first thought was the glass from the inside me quilt representing my broken heart. Then from there all my other quilt popped up. It was very difficult putting my thoughts on the computer and it has come out the way I see it. When it came to asking other people what they think about me it was so depressing I got nothing but blunt answers from my friends I was going to give up. Although it was too honest I need there answers. The last quilt I had to finish was future it was so hard I was confused what to say and how it was going to look. So the be honest the one was just thrown together but it does still mean something.

Artist Statement

Digital Photograph is the best class I have taken sense I came into high school. You learn so many things to do on the computer with Photoshop. Although it is a little difficult at times I enjoy learning the next compositional tricks. Learning how to work photo shop and the camera was difficult I did know there was so many things you can do with a camera.

Looking at my Portfolio I think I didn’t understand all the compositional trick it is because on most of my photo’s didn’t quite get you a good example of the trick. I feel if I would have work harder to try to understand what I was doing I would have came up with a better portfolio. It okay I guess for a beginner but it needs more improvement and my spelling in the statements need a lot of work with my spelling and how I used my words.

This semester I learn about how to burn the main thing in the photo so that people can focus on it. Bending word and shaping word and slice them to make them look real cool basically everything I learn thing semester I have never used photo shop. If I did it was the wrong way I did understand what I was doing. With my Portfolio I did better with Social Issue because I understood what to do it on and I did a lot of research on my quote for it. I‘ve learned about there is a different between snap shot and photograph.

When it came to doing my portfolio I had problem doing my “Alien” because it required using the trick that we learned and some new ones on the way. I also struggled with finding a stamp for my lyrics photo and have to make a stamp and paint brush. To me that is still hard. What was even harder was trying to find a quote for my social issue of just finding what social issues to do.

I need to improved in finding the right angles and being more creative and using the light in my photographs more. Using more and learning more about the rule of thirds. I have improved more in being creative with the photo shop. Also I have taken picture that actually has a concept.

Personal Words

I done had money I done been broke I done been talked about something awful Done been lied on by so many folks I done even been depressed at times and didn’t wanna cry cause my pride was too strong But over the years I thought it over And after struggling for so long and still holding on.

Social Issue: "Rape"

In this piece I have a dead rose .There is also a shadow on the left and a little bit of sunlight on the right in the corner. It is a black and white photo with the rose on the left side of the photo and the light hitting it a great angle with my statement is Arial Black and the text is red. My statement is “I Don’t Like The Way You Love Me”. In the photo I want the people who happen to look a at this to realize this is a serious problem.

The shareable up dead rose represent the pain, sorrow, and how the girl has be use constantly by the one she thinks loves her. That brings her down and makes her feel dirty and used. I want people to realize that the person is getting raped often think as that as love and that is wrong. I want people to see how it feel and the person how had that happen to them a feel the way that are feeling. This issue came to because most of the people in my family. They have had that happen to them.

Scary Effects

Out of all my photo I think that my alien is the best because i was understand what to do and how to do it. Akso because it look like a alien i put alot of creativie into it. Well i was doing the scary effect on the photo i learn how to use the stamp tool, pen tool. The stamp to is when you copy a place on you face and when you place it on a different place on the photo what you copied will show up where you clicked on. When using the pen tool you make curvy lines you can also put color on them. The would look like little skinny heat waves. The thing that kept giving me a problem was when I was using the burn tool.I did good on the out;ine on my face on my alien. We can use these tool in movie careers, the new paper, and show business. It is so that the can make people look at because no person is not going to look at this type of photo.

Formal Critique

Its seems as a middle aged man in the center of the ocean with a hammer.A rope wrapped around his waste to hold the wood on his back. Await the never ending walk way tired of bending over forward on his knees as if he is kissing the walk way with his the hammer in his had reading to strike the nail with full strength. With the dark gray ocean surrounding his with a lot of value in the ocean but the sky is bright is gray. The light bringing out the oceans value with block of wood leading to him as he is trying to build walk way in a never ending ocean. Although the man is waiting for the time the path will end it is his choice to determine were and how far he will go. He makes his on path no one else can tell him where to go. The photo convinces me to think that the man does know what he want or if he can decide on his own for he did some thing by himself.

Photoshop Tricks

Out of All tricks and tool like the Blur tool because it soften the photo and bring more color out so that you can see all the beauty in the picture as you are still focusing on what needs to be focused on. I would like to get more in the Mask tool because it seems a little hard to me I am still trying to understand how to do it. I didn't know that you could fix people face on the computer like and change the eye color. My favorite tool we used was ajustment layer because it has this type of glow the other tool can't give I don't know what it is but i like it. It is also my difficult to use I had to go over how to do it twice to understand how to use it.

Portraits

Out of all my portrait I think I was more successful with "Face Portrait" I say that because you can tell that it is a simpicity shot. The other reason is because I love the look that she has it seems like it can tell a story with all the emotion in her face. In my Creative and Artistic photo I have my partner do a cartwheel to show in the grass. The mood that I capture was a relaxing a centered mood. The props that I used are to different kinds of wraps and a flower in her just to help it so that wouldn't be the type of prop in the picture and it goes with her costume. I like the way the photos turned out becuase it look like somebody else and I did think I could be that creative. What make my photo unique is my background and and the way I have the person standing and like the face portrait her emotion on her face and all the beautiful background. I can say one thing about all my photo they all are not just quick pictures I took my time thinking about different was I can make the picture look interesting and creative I just think about the compositional tricks well talking the photos.

Out of all the "Compostional Tricks" I like simplicity because the point that it make. It is because you can actually focus on the main idea because it is up close and personal you just can't miss it. The other reason is because the best picture I took was simplicity it is a good example. The times that I will be taking pictures I will be using lighting and extreme.The reason for lighting is because the piece I want to use my need light in the picture.Then when I use extreme angles because I need to take the photo in different angles to show more expression.I think my leading lines was the worst photo because the was to many thing it was not leading to. I think I took a good Macro becuase you saw the man idea up close be you also saw the beauty in the background.

Compositional trick #8 Fill in Flash

Fill in Flash help you so that when the idea you want to take a picture is a little dark you put on fill in flash to bright it basically bring out the picture more.

Compositional Trick #7 Drawing with Light

My photo set apart from other because of my lighting and my shade and also the way I look in the picture it has some emotion in it. When I look at this photo feel that I could have done better on and I could have gotten better lighting is a different play. The light help it show feeling by not showing you whole face or body it gives it's mystery.

Compositional Trick #6 Framing

Framing help composition by in closing the idea you have and having the viewer see what the main idea is. Like for instance looking at a flower throw the stair bars. Your going to notice the flower not the bars. The frame in my picture help bring out the person more. I am taking a picture of although her face is blur it still make my point.It bring out what I want you to see more.

Compositional Trick #5 Extreme Angles

Extreme Angles is a trick that makes the photo stand out more it gives it my emotion and feel when you see things in a different angle. If you take a picture from the front it will be okay sometimes but taking pictures from a different angle will show more of its characteristic. I do not think I had the whole idea of "Extreme Angles" when I took my photo because at the time I was still stumped.

Compositional Trick #4 Simplicity

Simplicity does not mean boring it just want you to focus on you main idea more than the backround. It stregthens the photo by basically draining out the backround and looking at what the photographer wants you to see for instance the color.I think it is effective because the person looking at the photo probably would not automaticaly be drawn to the main idea.In my photo it show me but when you look at it more you do not notice my background but you notice my shirt and the camrea that is because i wanted the viewer to see.

Compositional Trick #3 Macro

Marco is basically a close up picture to focus on you idea but have a nice background and it is a extreme close up. It also helps you see the texture in the photo seeing thing that you have never seen in thing you see around you. It bring out it's uniqueness or sometimes it could look unusual.

Compositional Trick #2 Leading Lines

Leading Line is basically when you have lines leading to what the photographer want you to see it help you focus on the idea. It set you up to come upon what the photographer want you to see. For example the red and white line on the flag leads to the stars and blue background.

Compostional Trick #1 Rule Of Thirds

Rule of thirds is when you divide your image into third basically nine equal squares it looks like a tic tac toe board so that you can keep foucus on the image. You make sure that you image hits the line. Rule of thirds make you photo look revealing. when taken a photo you need to have the thing that you are taking a piture of at a angle .
