Bowling, anyone?

We had an open afternoon and decided to go bowling. We had a lot of fun, even got to try out the remote controlled bowling ball. Wouldn't you know Dustin had it down first try. Because he was so impressive at the controls, our use of the electronic bowling ball was FREE!

All dressed up and nowhere to go...

Kevin's command had a Change of Command. Kevin with Chief Jenkins, his Navy counterpart. And Kevin along with his Staff Non-Commisoned Officers, Staff Sergeants Scott Davis and Cam Meyer.

Look who came to town...

Natalie, Harbor and Cove came for a Southern California visit and we were fortunate to have the chance to meet up with them at the outlet mall in Carlsbad for an afternoon of food, shopping, and a little more shopping. Had a blast with all of them!! We sure do miss everyone from NC!

Birthday Week

We celebrated Allison's birthday this past weekend and now it's Addie's turn. She already had a head start by open her big present(new camera) last week and today she recieved a fruit arrangement from Kristin, Hannah, Aiden, Jason, Kim, and Cody. That was pretty cool...and good, too!

Allison wanted cupcakes for church on Sunday, so Addie and Carley stayed up late Saturday and made cupcakes...looks like Dr Seuss to me.

Double-Double, Jessica Simpson, Soft Serve, and Stale Bread

So we celebrated Allison's birthday today, she turns 15 tomorrow. Of course, she wanted to start the day at In & Out, after a round of Double-Doubles and more fries than a whole squad of Marines could eat we headed out to Sports Chalet for a JanSport and Flip-Flops??? Really?

After some initial tension that seems to brew whenever two words; Kevin and Money, are involved in the same 10 foot radius, we made our way out to the mall in El Cajon.

We finally tried the Frozen Yogurt place, its kinda cool, they have at least 10 diffent flavors of yogurt, you serve it yourself and do the toppings and then they weigh it and you pay by the ounce. The Cheesecake, Mango, and Peach combo didn't pan out as much as planned, but it was still fun. Back to the mall...

So there is this wig store in the mall, its a very intersting place, a mix between Spencers, a Halloween Costume store, and Fantastic Sams if you can picture that. We found Jessica Simpson's hair!!! It says it on the box, so it must be true. Allison modelled for us.

After a long day at the mall we finished with a trip to Lake Miramar to feed the ducks.
Overall, it was a pretty good day!

Ears Pierced

What little girl doesn't want her ears pierced? We took Natalie to get her ears pierced and she was such a big girl.

After combing through the many different pairs of earrings, she picked out some really cute pink heart-shaped studs and she has been so good about letting me clean them.

Allison had her ears pierced 4 times before we finally figured out she is allergic to cheap metal(good luck to any future boyfriends out there). We are hoping Natalie doesn't have to go through the same problems Allison had.

The LoveSac

Ever since we met Jake and Melissa and were introduced to their LoveSac, we have wanted one. Well Addie finally found one! As if we needed another excuse to sit in front of the TV...but at least we can do it together.

Fresh Start

So, here we go again, this will be our second attempt at a blog, but apparently we are the only people that don't have an active blog, so we need to get on this train. So, get in, hang on, quit your whining and let's go!!!

Addie is a dork

So I'm sitting here at Addie's house making her blog for her. She is fighting with her husband because he bought her a present and it wasn't exactly what she wanted. Kevin is on the phone because he is the elder's quorum president and everyone likes to bug him like its the cool thing to do.
