- Do you lose time from work due to thinking?
- Is thinking making your life unhappy?
- Have you ever felt remorse after thinking?
- Have you ever gotten into financial difficulties as a result of thinking?
- Does your thinking make you careless of your family's welfare?
- Has your ambition decreased since thinking?
- Does your thinking cause you difficulty sleeping?
- Has your efficiency decreased since thinking?
- Is thinking jeopardizing your job or business?
- Do you think to escape worries or troubles?
I never realized how much trouble I could get into with "thinking!" Apparently, I was wrong--I recently read a book on Addictive Thinking which took the 'self-test for alcoholism' and substituted the word "thinking" for "drinking." The result is the test above....are you an addictive thinker too? I mean really, do we need Thinker's Anonymous? I thought it was a safe activity, but apparently, like anything else, it can be done to excess. Are we going to see ads that talk about that "stinking thinking?"
My advice, give it up now while you can! Apparently, it might be safer to eat bonbons and watch television--but I've always "thought" of that as a waste of time. Maybe I'm wrong??
Your "thoughts"..................
