GGRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!

I typed a huge long post just now and it wouldn't save it! I'm so annoyed. I'm not typing it all again so here's the short short version:

Work is getting really busy now that it's warmer. We're down an assoc who transferred to another dept so it gets really hectic during the day.

I finally got me a kids workshop helper girl named Colleen. I'm super excited to work with her on Sat. Less stress for me.

Kenny's awesome dad gave him his 1966 Ford Mustang. Yea baby, we're cool now!!!

We had a combined b day party for the boys (Kasey 3, Chase 1) on Sunday at Bountiful Park. It was a huge success and they hit the gift jackpot. Thanks so much to everyone who were able to come, i sure had a good time.

Kenny has strep throat. It was so bad (my poor baby). His tonsils were swollen, blistered, and covered in puss-pockets. He also had a very high fever and terrible migraine. He's been on antibiotics since Monday and was able to go to work on Weds. So far it seems the boys and I have been un-infected (knock on wood).

Our tenative plan to visit Wyo this summer is almost dead in the water. Several unforeseen expenses have left us with none of the money we saved and it's looking less and less likely we will make it up there for my 10 yr hs reunion (of which, I'm pretty ok with). I can't say for sure, so we'll wait and see I guess.

Hello.......

...And yes it's been awhile. Seems like it's been ages and so much has gone on. I'll try to be as concise as possible.

Christmas was great. The boys had such a great time, especially Kasey (despite the fact of not having Austin yet again). I'll post some pics of that. Then, (as usual, there was drama with my sister/bro's in laws. Grrr! It's a long stupid story that I'm not repeating, but I will say my sis in law Jodie is completely selfish, childish, and needs to get over herself!!!

New years was good. Nicole, Ethan and I saw Avatar in 3d that night. It rocked!

Work has been good. Kinda slow, but there's always things to do.

Feb 6th was Kenny's 34th birthday; the celebration was overlayed with frustration because our neon got repo-ed right before. We pay our car payment every month, but we are hardly ever on time because of the way the payment date and our paydays workout..and apparently they'll still take your car if you have built up enough late fees!!! It was so jank!!!! So we had to pay $1500 to the car co and $60 to get it out of the impound. Guess we learned our lesson!

Austin flew down for his spring break and we ACTUALLY GOT TO SEE HIM!!!! I think I'm still in shock!! It was awesome seeing him, even if it was only for a couple days. And more great news, he and his family are moving back to Utah from Anchorage. I thought it would never happen. Kenny and I are so so so excited, Kasey too. We"ll actually get to see him regularly!!!! I can't wait!

We've all been sick the past week and a half. I think I'm the worst of all of us, but I'm getting my voice back. Usually it's the first to go and the last to arrive.

Other than the above not to much has been going on besides the usual: work, kids, laundry, etc... I've been really slacking on my p90x. I have such guilt too. I have managed to loose 3 lbs in the past two weeks though.

The boys are doing very well (besides being sick of course). Chase got his two bottom teeth a few weeks ago and is working on the two tops. They're the cutest little things you ever saw!!! Kasey is getting so tall and so smart. He gets me rolling at least once a day too...such a thinker.

Oh,and I managed to break my phone. The front touch screen got a big crack in it (thanks to the solid concrete floors at the home depot and my clumsiness). I was just dealing with it and then my sweatie-heart hubby surprised me with a new one using his "new every two" deal. Being loved rocks!!!

Did I blog that I went to see Sylvia Brown the physic with my mo in law??? I can't remember. It was really fun. I could listen to her talk all day (even with the horrid smokers cough!! haha!!). She says the recession will truly be over in 2011 and that everyone has spirit guides that haven chosen you (not usually a relative either) and they are with you always. I guess we'll see if she's right.

Kenny got free tickets to the Jazz/Kings game here the other night. It was really fun just the two of us. We were 15th row and just about center-great seats. Jazz won too.

I'm a blog slacker...

Sorry to the one person whom reads my blog (grandma), I've been so busy/preoccupied and my mom not having internet hasn't helped either. It seems like not that much has been going on except the usual: work, family, life and more work plus laundry and dishes. I guess I update facebook more now because I can do that on my phone.

I've been doing p90x and its totally kicking my butt, i haven't been able to do it 4 days though and the guilt is killing me!!!! Grrr! But I really like it. The workouts are really hard, but pretty fun too.

My Christmas shopping is done..unless I see something around you know. I didn't do cards this year to try and save a little money so Merry Christmas Everyone!!!!

Kenny and the boys are doing great. Kenny has been having some teeth issues, but hopefully that will be taken care of this week (needs about three root canals).

Today is my parents 29th wedding anniversary. I'm proud that they have had a marriage that long, it's really saying something in this day and age.

Duh< I forgot two magor things!!!

Oct. 20th was a good and a very bad day. First it was my 3rd wedding anniv. (Kenny had to work so we went out to dinner the prev friday. It was really nice actually have a couple hours together...alone), but that day my Grandpa Asay had a heart attack. He's seemingly fine now and home, but taking it easy. That had to stent a clogged artery. It was pretty scary for that whole day.

The abridged version...

Typing everything would prob take way too long so here's the gist, let's see:

Kasey and Chase had colds this past week. We were up all night one night with them both, it was awful.
I had my bottom wisdom out and a flu shot a couple days before that and those two things combined gave me a migraine from hell. I was so sick, puking stomach bile. Top ten headache of my life!
Chase had his 6 month check-up. He was 18 lbs and in the 80th perc. for his height. He also had to have 4 shots that day too :(
I decided not to get the boys the H1N1 shots. I'm not sure if it was the right thing to do exactly, but they don't go to day care or hand around a lot of kids or people...usually so I guess we'll see. I did get the baby the regular flu shot though.
Kenny finally passed his kidney stone. And it was..as they said it was..6 mm. They said it was too big to pass and that's why they did the ten-freakin-thousand dollar "breaking up" procedure. He said it didn't hurt too much. ???? go figure.
Work is stressful. THREE peolple were on vacation at the same time and then they told us that the openers (me) are soon going to have to take over all the merchandise ordering and packing down and possibly pulling freight as well and that they are absolving the people who are now in charge of it. I don't know what they are accomplishing besides moving the hours around. Everyone is kind of on edge about it.
Halloween was fun. It was the first time I've dressed up in years. Me and Colie and the boys were from the fifties. The boys were greasers and so cute! We went to FP mall, but it was pretty much a bust. By the time we got there (at 7pm!) all but 4 stores were out of candy. I was so mad, but I guess if Kasey had a good time it doesn't really matter.
New tires on the Neon today...Thanks Dad...again. :)
Chase is crawling all over the place...it's fun.
My in laws are completely out of there house and into they're rental. I can't believe how much stuff they had!!!!
And to all my Twerds out there...18 MORE DAYS!!!! I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!

Mommy has broken hair...

...and when I heard that come out of Kasey's mouth I laughed first then sighed and became sad. Yes, I suppose my hair is "broken" in that it's not blonde any more and it went some weird red color instead of the dark golden blonde it was supposed to be. (sigh again). It'll get fixed, sooner or later, but until then I'm hat-ward bound.

This week...

...has been busy, but not bad. Kenny still hasn't passed any stones (that he can tell) and has no pain. I think they're still stuck, but he seems to think they're gone. He has an appointment with the urologist next Tuesday.

Kenny and I both worked a lot and Thursday watched a little football. Friday I spent the day shopping and hanging with my fam. Saturday I had a kid workshop (for work). Myself and about 5 others from nearby Home Depots went the the U of U campus and set up shop at their yearly health fair. There were tons of booths there as well as some tongan dancers, some performing unicylclers, and Smokey the Bear. There was a dude with about 20 different snakes and a guy with a horse that could play with a beach ball. It was pretty fun. I think the kid-size home depot aprons were a bigger hit than the wooden kits. That evening we went the Rocky Mountain Raceway to watch Gary (my bro in-law) in his final train race of the year. They took third. It was the most exciting race I think I've ever seen. Three trains had to be drug off the track due to crashes. There were other fun races before then too that were really fun to watch. The super modified PPG's rattled the bleachers for 100 laps. Today we're at my in-laws watching football and helping them pack up and get ready for the yard sale. Also enjoying a little NFL Sunday Ticket. Go Packers!
