ELK HUNT

ITS BEEN A COUPLE WEEKS SO I BETTER GET THIS BLOGGED. ON SEPTEMBER 28TH MY MOM KILLED HER ELK!!! IT WAS SO AWESOME IT WAS A TOUGH HUNT, LONG DAYS ON THE HORSES AND HIKING BUT SHE DID IT ON THE SIXTH DAY! MONDAY MORNING MY MOM ME AND MY DAD ALL HEADED DOWN INTO THIS CYN THAT WE HAD FOUND THE ELK IN THE NIGHT BEFORE. THE ELK WERE GOING CRAZY IT WAS AWESOME WE FINALLY GOT INTO THEM AND THERE WERE 7 BULLS AND ABOUT 40 COWS. THE ELK WERE GRUNTING AND FIGHTING AND COWS WERE CHERPING AWAY, IT WAS GREAT!!! MY MOM GOT IN ON A 50 YARD SHOT OF THIS NICE SIX POINT BULL ELK! GOOD JOB MOM WE ARE SO PROUD OF YOU AND LOVE YOU TONS! THANKS TO MY FAMILY AND THE GREAT MEMORIES!!!

IT'S FALL!!??

It seems like I was just BLOGING about how I couldnt wait for FALL to be here and now I am wondering where SUMMER went!!! I have had a great summer learned a lot with my job its been great it will be sad to have it over with even though I have liked fighting fire I truely think my place is in dispatch I know my stuff in there and am alot more confident in there as well. The next few weeks are going to be great with the hunts and the new baby on the way when all that excitment is over IRELAND here we come.... I can hardly wait!!!

A few weeks ago my friend Lauri asked me to go for a FOURWHEELER ride and have a BBQ with her and her family, We got poored on, it was the FUNNEST thing ever!! For those of you that KNOW me I LOVE THE RAIN and playing in it makes it even better. It was just lovely to be wearing a white tank top and have her brothers there I was told "We dont have white Tshirt contests in that family!" I was dying!!! LOL :)I have been to busy to take 5 min and blog about it but here are a few pictures of us when we got back to her aunts cabin, Thanks Lauri it was great and your the best! Love Ya!!!

Wow I cant hardly believe that it has been a month since I have done a post!!! I finally had a day off, I have been working for 13 days straight working 16 hr days so my life is crazy and I so freakin tired! We have had a fire over by Panguitch lake called the Horse Valley Fire we were doing a fire use on and for those of you that dont know what that is, its when a fire is naturally started and they let it burn in the area because it will do some good to the forest that it is burning in. So it was doing good! Fire is good, way good, so for all of you that hate fires just know that it really helps the forests health.Anyways the fire was doing really good until the winds picked up and got ahold of it and started getting spot fires a mile away and them we lost it.Although it has burned alot of acres it has done the forest some good here are a few pictures from the fire. Its been alot of fun seeing what goes on on this side of things even though I feel like I probably belong in dispatch where I feel like I have my groove unlike out in the feild I feel a little lost its good though I am truely loving it!!!





Coming off the mountain the other night we got to see one of the most beautiful sunsets, well Cedar always has some beautiful sun sets but this one was awesome!!!

LiFE

Well just thought I would let everyone know how my LiFE is going!!! Work is good havent had any fires yet but busy in training I can hardly wait to get busy, for a couple of reasons 1st off I want the money, (cant wait for the good checks to be comin in!!) and 2nd so that fall will come faster!!! =) I am excited for fall or maybe I should say that I am excited for November cause I am going on a really fun vacation... We are going to IRELAND for 8 days!!! I am so excited!!! =)IRELAND somewhere I have always wanted to go!!! Its to bad I dont drink anymore! LOL!!! Well maybe its a good thing beings my mother is going with me. (MOM I am so happy your coming!) It should be REALLY FUN!!!
I found out today that I have to have SURGERY on Monday not to excited and its horriable timing since I am working! It NEVER fails though! I hang out all winter long and nothing and then I start working and 4 weeks into the fire season I am dying of a bad gall bladder! I am so ready to eat whatever I want again though, I have had to be so careful because the pain is SO BAD if I'm not!!!
Anyways thats my LiFE these days not to exciting but I think its only a matter of time before it gets CRAZY and I will be praying to have a day or 2 thats not to exciting!!!

Well its crazy but, TRUE!!! My little Sister is GRADUATING! Its so hard to believe it seems like it was just yesturday that I was crying cause we didnt get to bring her home from the hostpital for a few days. Times fly!!! I want her to know how proud I am of her, she is going to start the colanarie arts class at the collage there in Richfield!!! I think she will have a great time and do a GREAT job!!! Sis I am so PROUD of you and LOVE you so much!!! Follow your dreams and keep up the hard work!!!

Well we got our deer and elk draw results back!!! My Dad and me both successful on General deer and for my Mom she is successful on the BIG bull elk tag on the Boulders!!! Congrats mom it will be great times, cant wait!!!
