Celine....

This weekend we had a girls trip! My parents, sister and aunt were in St. George some of the weekend, and on Sunday I left my hubby and kids and headed up north with them for a little getaway!! We met at JoDee's house and then made our way to the Cheesecake factory!! Yummy! I LOVE the food there!





After we ate we went to our hotel and then to see Celine!! Her concert was AMAZING!! We actually saw her in Las Vegas too, so it was so much fun to see her perform again!! I was one of those crazy people that cried when she sang Power of Love!haha I couldn't help it!! Lame, I know, But really....she is just so good!!





After the concert, we went back to the hotel and ate the rest of the cheesecake!!



Is that Celine or JoDee??? Celine did this move throughout the whole concert!!


Kara, my mom, grandma Lucille and I all stayed at the hotel, and then we met JoDee, Lily and Lori at the mall the next day! We shopped a little, had lunch and then it was time to head back home! It was so much fun!

2 Years Old!!

McKay's birthday was yeseterday! I can't even believe that he is already 2 years old!! It was a great day...and I think towards the end of the day, he finally understood that this was his "special day"! He woke up in the morning and walked in to the kitchen where we had some balloons and a couple presents for him. The kid LOVES balloons...so he was really excited about them and carried them around the house all day!



Later that afternoon, Sunni, Riley and I took the kids to Pirate's Pizza! We told the workers it was Mac's birthday, so they brought him ice cream and sang to him! The kids had a lot of fun there! Even Ella participated in the fun this time!


That evening we had a little "pirate" themed birthday party with Nick, Sunni and the boys and Ronny, Riley and Crew! The kids dressed up, we had a treasure chest pinate, and then had cupcakes and ice cream!






McKay opened the rest of his presents, but I would have to say that his favorite gift was from Luke and Logan. They got him a STICK HORSE!!! It was so funny! He opened it up and his little mouth opened so wide and he just jumped up on it! He ran into his room and got his cowboy hat, and then off he rode!


I just have to say...I love my little guy so much. McKay keeps me on my toes, and I am really glad that he does! He has so much spunk and his little personality cracks me up! He is a great big brother to Ella, and she LOVES him so much! We love our Mac more than anything! Happy Birthday buddy!

This Week at the Wright's

This week was full of fun things! On Tuesday, Sunni and I took our kids to the new Pirate Place in St. George. It was great! We went around 1:00pm and NO ONE was there! We had the place to ourselves....so we stayed there for TWO HOURS and just let kids run wild! The kids had a lot of fun, and the food is actually pretty good!






On Friday night, we got a babysitter and went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner and then went BOWLING!! We had so much fun! We had a little competition...boys against girls. The boys got lucky and won, but the girls brought the entertainment!



Isn't it funny how mom's get crazy when the kids aren't around??!??!




After we got home from our date, Doug and Stasha made it to our house. Stasha called me earlier in the week, and suggested that we make our hubbies a "Valentine's Breakfast"! So...We got up this morning and made Belgian waffles with strawberries and whipped cream! It was soooo yummy! I am glad that Stasha is creative...!

80's Party!

We got invited to go to an "80's party" on Saturday night! It was so much fun! We went all out...mullet, cut off shorts, scrunchies, bright colors...the whole bit! When we first got there, we took a couple picture...


We had a fashion show....

We had a limbo contest and a dance contest! We actually won the dance contest, because Carl pulled out his famous move....THE WORM!! That is right...The Worm...the move you do with your whole body, on the GROUND!! (I didn't get any pictures of that! Dang it!) Needless to say, he was a little sore this morning!! It was a lot fun though and I think that the party needs to be made a yearly tradition!!

BIrthday Boy!

Birthday boy or man...whatever you prefer!! It is Carl's Birthday today!! He is the big 29! We have kindof been celebrating his birthday since Thursday. Nick and Sunni weren't going to be at work on Friday, so we decided to have a little lunch celebration on Thursday! Sunni ordered Winger's food...wings, sticky fingers, fries AND asphalt pie!! It was SOOOO good!

On Saturday I got a babysitter and we went to dinner at Claimjumper and then to the adult session of stake conference. It was a really fun night! It wasn't really a typical birthday outing, but I am really glad that we went to stake conference.

Today we attempted to go to stake conference and then we just RELAXED the rest of the day. We had Carl's favorite breakfast and dinner...breakfast burritos and roast, and then ......

we headed to Nick and Sunni's for the Super Bowl!




All in all...it has been a great birthday weekend! I love my hubby so much! He is such a great example to me in EVERYTHING he does! He has been working so much lately and I am just SOOO grateful for all of his hard work for our family. He is an amazing Dad, and an amazing husband! I am just so blessed that I get to grow old with my best friend! Happy Birthday Carl!
