Ft. Worth Childrens Museum

We went with Cole's family to the kids museum in Ft. Worth. It was a lot of fun. Chloe learned about magnets and electricty and of course went from thing to thing to thing.

Christmas with Cole's Family

For our third Christmas we spent the 26th at Cole's grandparents. Chloe enjoyed dancing with Granddad and loved playing with Blake Jr.

Bubba's Guitar

My dad has been taking guitar lessons. Most of the songs he has learned are songs from Sting (not his choice). He did bring out the guitar and strummed a little for the kids. Chloe's eyes lit up whenever he played!

The Quilt

I made my first quilt this year. If you knew me you would know I am by no means a seamstress, so this was a major feat. They are all hand prints of MawMaw and Bubba's grandkids. I sure did learn a lot about sewing.

Christmas Day

We spent Christmas Day with my parents in Allen. Wow, what a lot of gifts! We started the morning with cooking themed gifts. The first gift was animal shaped pancake pan. We had to take a break and make some. Her big gift was a rocking horse. She loves it! You will notice that she does have her shoes on with her pjs. She got tired of opening gifts and we had to finish later in the afternoon and then again in the evening.

Pie Making

Chloe again loving to cook. On Christmas morning here she is with MawMaw cooking the coconut cream pie! It sure was good little chef in training!!!

Christmas Eve

We had our first of three Christmases on Christmas Eve. We woke up and Santa had come to Tulsa. Chloe received the easel from Santa. She also got a Curious George bath toy and book, dress-up clothes, watch, necklace, bracelet, cash register and other goodies.
Cole got me a necklace and wooden bowl. He received a watch and calendar.

Emma turns 1

Emma had a winter "one'derland party for her first birthday. It was soooo cute!!! Chloe had a hard time not wanting to help her with her cake and presents.

House Party

Several of us got together to make gingerbread houses. It was fun. Next year hopefully mine will be a little more creative.

How to make pancakes

Chloe and I made banana-pecan pancakes the other morning. She is already loving to cook. She stirred, poured, and mashed bananas. They were very tasty and she even wanted seconds. She does have some crazy hair thanks to pigtails.

First Haircut

Chloe received her first haircut last week Cheyenne's sister Staci came down to give us all haircuts. Chloe freaked out, so Cole had to hold her. All week Chloe has been pointing to her hair and saying, "Staci, hair"

Dallas Arboretum

These are some old pics from the Dallas Arboretum. They have it beautifully decorated for the fall, I am sure it is already decorated for Christmas. Chloe loved playing with the pumpkins.

Baby

Chloe loves babies. Which is good since she is going to be a big sister. I am sure all of my friends cringe when she comes near them. She loves to play with them and try to pick them up. She also loves to get in their car seats. She is going to be such a great big sister.

Prayer Time

I watched Avery one night. Watching Avery was so easy. It was great she entertained Chloe for me. When it was time to eat we had to say prayer before we ate. It might be sac religious taking pictures of prayer time, but it was just too cute. Avery is Chloe's best friend. Chloe includes Avery's name in so many conversations. When we go to church Chloe's first thought is where is Avery. I hope they will always be such good friends.

Cleaning

I really do love to clean. I don't love to pick up and be neat, but I love to do serious cleaning. I guess that Chloe must have inherited that from me. She is messy, but loves to clean. She and Avery decided to sweep Cheyenne's floor.

Aquarium

When Cole's parents came to visit we took Chloe to the aquarium. It was very interesting, but a little too old for Chloe. She was scared of the really big fish. She did love anything she could put her hands on. The sting ray really scared her as one kept coming out of the water right by her. It even gave Carolyn and me a little scare.
