Best Friends

These two boys make me smile every day. They also make each other laugh every day. North is constantly giving Oskar kisses.  I hope they will always be best friends.

Little Oskar

Our new little man was born July 14th. He came into this world quickly. My water broke on a friday night at 10:30pm and he was born early morning Saturday at 4am. Jared was an awesome coach and my best friends Mindi and Laura came for the delivery too. It was so special to have them all in the room. Everything went very well. I can't complain. When Oskar came out I remember looking at him and thinking, 'who is this.' His skin was dark and so was his hair. I guess I just expected him to look like North, but he doesn't. Oskar is very much his own little man. He smiles with his whole body, cries when he is hungry, tired or uncomfortable and brings his own spark to the family. North loves him and gives him kisses all the time. We feel so lucky/blessed to have two amazing little boys.

Spring 2012

We have had such a beautiful spring in Salt Lake City. North, Jared and I love getting outside. We have been working in the garden, swimming, going to the park and North is constantly making us laugh. Our new little man will be arriving in July and we can't wait to share the fun with him too.

Also this spring my best friend Mindi had twin girls. Norah and Molly are beautiful and keeping Mindi and Steve extra busy. I know she is so happy, but also so exhausted. I wish I could help out more. I am looking forward to all our kids playing together soon. 

Baby Boy #2

I have to admit, I thought I wanted a girl, but when I saw my new baby boy I fell in love. It instantly made sense that I would have two little boys running around my house (and probably destroying it). This little man is so active and seems to be doing flips all the time. Jared and I are so excited to meet him. I wonder if he will be like North or the complete opposite. I can't wait to meet him in less than 4 months. I feel like the luckiest girl in the world!
