Family Movie Date

So - Mike has been working A TON and has been outta town!! And a couple weekends ago he actually had a couple days off. *Woot Woot* This was a big deal for us - as Madi & I never see him!! 

Anyways, we decided to take Madilyn to the movies. We went to see Happy Feet 2 in 3D. Her first movie theatre experience and my first seeing a 3D movie. It was way fun. Madilyn got a kick out of the "weird glasses" we had to wear. Here are a few (not so good) photos from our date!!

We Had a Blast!!!

Christmas Party!!

So yesterday we had our Christmas Party to go to - and Madilyn was so excited!! I was making buns for the Christmas dinner and I had a little helper - as I always do. (She loves to help me in the kitchen, even if I'm just doing dishes!!)  I told Madilyn that we were making buns to take to the Christmas Party. And for the rest of the day she kept saying that she "helped Mommy make buns for Santa!!" Love that she put that together. Haha. She knew Santa was going to be at the Party! Anyways, the Party was fun. Madilyn loved watching them put on the Nativity. And of course loved the visit from Santa!!! She waited so patiently to see him - and asked nicely for a "dollhouse and new Christmas jammies."

 Good Times!

We went over to Mum's to visit for a bit - and Madilyn was on the floor playing with the Nativity and all the little people. After awhile my mum said look she lined up all the people. I looked and noticed that all the people were lined up - to see baby Jesus!!! She had baby Jesus and a circle of people around him, and then a huge line up of all the other people!! HOW SWEET!?!?!

Ok....one more story for the day!! So after we got home from the Christmas Party - it was late and Madilyn was so tired. (So I thought) I get her all ready for bed and get her tucked in. But then she starts singing Christmas songs as loud as she could!! And she wasn't stopping. I was in there trying to get her to go to sleep. And after a few minutes of silence, Madilyn says "look Mommy - I'm Mary!!" I looked up at her, and she had her blankie over her head and was holding her koala!! lol. Seriously love this girl!!! She said it was her "costume" like the Mary on the stage tonight. 

(Of course I had to turn on the lights so I could take a picture!! Or a few. I couldn't help it.)

A Day At Home

Just a day at home with my little girl!!! Love my days off. Oh and have I mentioned.........I only have 7 more days of work until I get to stay home EVERYDAY with Miss Madi (and soon our new baby girl as well)!!  YUP - I'm counting!!!  :D

Went outside to play in the snow!! It was sooooo cold. But Madilyn loved it of course - she loves being outside no matter what the weather is like.

She was such a good girl today!! Having so much fun playing with her toys & singing.

And yes - we stayed in our jammies all day!!

It's The Most Wonderful Time of The Year

So......we may or may not have put up our Christmas tree last night!!! Along with all our Christmas decorations.  Yes I know - it is only November, but why wait!?!?!  We bought a new tree this year. And the other day Madilyn and I went out and picked out some ornaments. And she has been asking me ever since, if we could put the tree up. So we did - and we had a blast!! We had the Christmas music going and Miss Madilyn was dancing around the living room having the best time ever!! So fun. She is at such a fun age. Christmas is going to be fun this year!!!

 Making her Christmas Wish list!! It was cute - she got this paper and pencil and starting saying things she wanted for Christmas. Then she asked Mikey & I what we wanted for Christmas!!

COUSINS

I LOVE THESE 3 LITTLE KIDS SO MUCH!!! They are the best of friends. And it is so cute to watch how they have each others backs already. They are all at such a fun age, and get along so well.  How lucky they are to have each other. And to be close enough to play together all the time.
