Update!!!

Okay...so a lot has happened since I have posted in August.....man I have been slacking. I will post pics later, Caleb is getting so big!!!!! In August I went back to school and started working on my master's degree so I am a stay at home mom Mon-Fri, full time RN (kinda :) Sat-Sun and at night I am a grad student!!! First few weeks were really hard but first semester is done with all A's! Next semester starts next week..... In October it rained way too much but we manged to go to the pumpkin patch and got some really cute pics with Tom's camera. I bought Caleb a Bear costume but he refused to wear it (he has an opinion now???) so he got dressed up in his regular fireman rain coat and boots and was a fireman and went trick or treating with Tom ( I was working) November brought more rain and Thanksgiving, which Tom was working but me and Caleb still made the rounds to all the family. Christmas was a blast. Caleb loved Santa (from a distance) and Frosty and more than anything opening up presents....he opened everyone's presents. He just liked to see the paper fly! It was cool to see everything through his eyes for the first time (last year he was only 10 months old and learning to walk). He was so excited to put up the Christmas tree in his very own house and I bought ornaments that he could take off and on the tree so it wasn't a "no-no". When it snowed this last week he looked at me and very seriously said "frosty??" He really thought frosty the snowman was in his yard so we went looking for him!!! I have pics of all of this and really need to post them...maybe one day next week. My little boy will be 2 in Feb....man how time flies! Well that is our update in the past few months. The Wonder Place with all the Boys!!!

We met all of our cousins (4 boys in all with two on the way!!) at the Wonder Place last week. They had a blast but it was hard to keep them all in one place together. I think they all stayed at the sand area the longest together.....Carrie attempted to get a group pic but I have yet to see how that turned out. They were having their 3 year anniversary so it was pretty busy. Caleb loved climbing all over everything and not getting in trouble and he LOVED the water. I had to take him out because he was getting people wet that weren't in the water area from splashing so much :)

A Day at the Lake

This was Caleb's first time at the lake. We meet Lindsey and her family and they were kind enough to take us out on the boat. Caleb did not want to be in the lake but didn't mind splashing from the raft

Caleb HATED his life jacket!!!!!

He loved "driving" the boat and hitting the horn over and over and over!!!

He was pooped at the end of the day but we had a great time.....can't wait until next year :)

Water Play

I bought Caleb a new sprinkler at Wally-World the other day because he loves being outside and getting wet. So we packed up the wagon with snacks, bubbles, towels, phone, and camera (tell you why that is important later) cups and soaker balls. I slathered Caleb in sunscreen and off we went. He had a great time and cried when it was time to go inside. Unfortunately on the way back to the house the wonderful bubbles split on my camera and cell phone. I now have a new cell phone (no thanks the "the new AT&T"....I would protest them if I could) and my camera will only let me download these pics but won't take any new ones. This trip was the death of my camera :(

Fire truck

Caleb got this cool Fire Truck for his birthday in February but his Grandpa didn't put it together :( so I just got around to doing it the other day. It is a peddle truck, so Caleb can't quite get around in it yet but he loves when you push him in it and he likes to push it around the house.

Randomness

Here are just some random pics I took of Caleb outside of the court house in Heber Springs...He was looking at birds and buses. I know it doesn't look like he's got hair but he really does have some back there. You have to come see him for yourself!!!

Delayed Easter

My mom had to work on Easter so we had to celebrate a few days later and had dinner. Caleb got his first Gumby and Pokey and a really cute book called "God's Greatest Gift".....we later took our conversation to the parking lot where he proceeded to get completely soaked by playing in water on the street. It started off just splashing his foot in it and before I knew it he was sitting in it (I drew the line when he tried to put his head in it and drink the water) You could see people giving me crazy looks like "why are you letting your kid play in the dirty water in the middle of the road"!!!! He had a blast, I watched for cars, and he had a change of clothes in the car......he is a little boy and does not miss a puddle (I wouldn't have it any other way). Wish I had pics of that, but wasn't thinking about it in the moment :)
