Christmas 2012

Merry Christmas to all of our Loved ones and Friends (who are also loved, lol)! 

This year for Christmas we decided we would be doing gifts of service for each other in lieu of physical gifts.  It has really brought the Spirit into our homes this holiday season to not have to be rushing around finding things to give each other, or worrying about how to pay for lots of gifts.  Instead we have spent more family time together and doing acts of service to each other that we are trying to make meaningful.

I'll attach the pictures I sent out in our Christmas e-mail card (for those of you I don't have e-mail addresses for and view our blog, and for those who couldn't get the attachments to open).  I'll also attach a few pictures of what Santa brought for Christmas (because, yes, Ian still believes and we just couldn't let him down!).

Ian was shaking his finger at us for wrapping his wii games (he got 4) in packages to trick him because they all looked so different.  He was very happy to receive them though, and the finger shaking was all in good fun!

Brian received Vernor's Gingerale, his favorite drink from Michigan (tracked down here in Utah!)

I have noticed many lovely friends and co-workers with cute scarves and guess what! That's what Santa Brought me.  My boss at work gave me a lovely blue one also and I can't wait to wear them!

Summer and Fall 2012

We stayed very busy this summer.  Trips, scouts, family pictures,

zoo visits, family visits, more scouts, more famil pictures,

and just enjoying time together!

Florida Vacation

We had the awesome opportunity to go to Florida for a whole week and do some amazing things.  We surprized Ian by just waking him up and telling him that we were going to Disney World!  The video we got of him is cute, he was SOOOOO excited!  Thanks to Mark Peters, a wonderful friend of Brian's, we went to Disneyworld for 4 days and just had an amazing time doing that! 
Also, Brian and I went tandem skydivinig for the first time and it was SOOOOOO awesome.  Brian wants to open his own skydiving business now (don't think it will happen though, sorry hon).
We also met friends and went to the beach for a day, and it was amazing.  Ian loved the ocean and was in it for hours!
Florida is a beautiful state and we REALLY enjoyed our time there.  I will post a few pictures and if anyone wants to see more, I'd be glad to invite them to look at the 400+ pictures we have saved through Shutterfly or Wal-Mart.  400 was a few to many to post on here, lol!  So here goes......
