I am so lame

I can never keep on this type of thing, but I thought I would wish everyone a merry christmas and post a few new pics just for fun. I will try to be a little better. Promise.

Class Reunion

Just thought I would add a picture or two of the big 10 year class reunion. How weird was that? It wasnt as awkward as I had anticipated, but still very strange. It was good to see a lot of people. I cant believe you can go ten years without seeing someone and still have crazy memories the minute they are around. Hope everyone had a good time! It was fun to hang out and go to DQ and spend time at Scott's house. We should definately get together a little more often.

I lived

This is a little late, but I have had one heck of a busy summer. I did go skydiving... and I survived. It was pretty amazing really. Strangest feeling ever. It really doesnt feel like you are falling at all, I dont know how else to explain it. Anyway I posted a picture or two as well as a couple of the puppies cuz they are so cute.

Oh crap.

When I was younger I wrote this list... you know the one. Things you need to do before you die list. On it was skydiving. One night while feeling brave I mentioned this to two friends and convinced them we should go. I had to actually really convince them of it. Well for my wedding my best friend bought me a gift certificate to go. Oh crap I thought. This is for real.
This Saturday I am jumping out of a plane by my own free will. To say I am terrified is an understatement.
I am going to have to reevaluate that silly list.

The new addition!

Here he is.... The new baby of the family. We picked him up last night and I had forgotten how I dont get any sleep with a new puppy around. We were up 3 different times last night to let him out and he cried for about 20 minutes every time he came back in. Toby is pretty good about getting up and taking care of him so that is nice.Finally at 5:00 I just gave up and got up with him. We still havent picked out a name. I am sure I will by the end of the day though. Jett doesnt quite know what to do with him yet. We kept telling him he was getting a brother, but every time he tries to play with him we keep telling him no. He is so big it is hard for him to know how to play with the little guy. Smudge cant figure out what is going on at all. He just sits on the ottoman and stares at him. Pretty funny though. Should be an interesting couple of weeks!!!!

We are Crazy!

So we did it. We are getting another puppy. We will have him around the middle of March. Jett needed a brother. He was lonely. I am starting to study for my exams to be officially licensed and I dont have as much time for him so he needed a playmate. Here are the two front runners thus far.

While SOM produced Midtowns three main office buildings, Sakakura Associates, in consultation with Jun Aoki, worked on its apartment complex. The Suntory Museum of Art and 21_21 DESIGN SIGHT (a small exhibition venue) came from architects Kengo Kuma and TAdao Ando, respectively. Two grand wedge-shaped public spaces unit the primary buildings.

Happy New Year!!!

When Toby and I got married my best friend moved to Pocatello.... This was a pretty traumatic for me. However, true to her word, she has been back every 4 weeks to visit so on New Year's Eve Toby and I along with Felicia and Stephanie went out to a nice fancy fondue restaurant and had a 5 course meal with lots of fun!

Christmas time

I thought I would update everyone on how our Christmas alone was since I was somewhat worried about it. It was great! We actually had a lot of fun. Christmas Eve day we built a fantastic snowman in the park and Jett tried to eat his arms off. We went back two days later and it was still there. I was surprised a few punk kids didn't come knock it down, but it held out strong. We painted our bedroom. Well, almost all of it. I still have an accent wall to do, but that should go quick. That night we made a nice steak and potato dinner and played board games until 1:00 a.m.
Christmas day we woke up and read the Christmas story from the bible and then unwrapped gifts. We put a limit on what we were able to spend for each other because our house still needs so many things. It was fun to see what we came up with for our amounts. We cooked a turkey - something I have never even tried to attempt before and we made mashed potatoes. It was pretty good. We did alright. Anyway we had a really good time and I am glad that we did it. It was hard to tell our parents no, but I am sure we wont get that chance anytime soon again so it was a good decision.
Anyway we bought a new camera last week so I will start putting up a few pictures again soon!
