We ended up with a little surprise at my 35 week appointment when we found out I was at 7 cm and 90%, so in we went to the hospital on October 30th. By the next morning nothing had happened so we opted to go home and wait it out for a while. Thank goodness because my mom was arriving on Halloween! I was able to go home, take a nap, visit with my mom, and take the kids trick or treating. Unfortunately the camera was packed, so I didn't get pictures of the kids costumes, but my mom has them, so hopefully I will get them soon! They were very cute. Adelyn was little red riding hood, and Isaac was an astronaut. The 1 1/2 hours of trick or treating didn't seem to do much as far as contractions go, so of to bed we went only to be woken up at 2am by contractions. I think we headed of to the hospital around 4am to find out that I was at 9cm, and almost fully dialated! Chloe Ann arrived at 8:17am weighing in at 5 lb 13oz and 19 1/4 inches long and a full set of lungs! Aubrey Grace took her time getting here and decided to make her apperance at 11:47am weighing in at 5lb 11 oz and 19 inches long. She was so mellow, and had such a mellow cry, they were kind of worried, so they wisked her from my arms and forgot to take of the monitoring devise that was still stuck on her head :o(. The bleeding soon stopped and a couple of hours later you could hardly see where it was.
I would have to say that this was by far, the easiest recovery I have had. By the time we left the hospital, I felt almost back to normal, minus the cold I developed the day we left!

Twins are finally here!

I know many of you have been waiting to see the cutties, and here they are! Chloe is in the foreground and Aubrey is in the back ground.






Here's a close up of one of the babies... I think this is Cloe again, only because her mouth is closed. I really have a hard time telling them apart! Hopefully I get better with time.









Isaac and Adelyn are sooo excited to be with their new siblings! They really enjoy holding them, much to the terror of their parents. So far they've done a superb job and haven't dropped any of the babies.





























Adelyn and Isaac are growing up so fast. They really are turning into cute kids.

Adelyn's first day of preschool 10/9/08. Notice the fat lip from a couple of days before, swimming pool benches and her don't get along very well! She had a great first day of school. The next day we went to a birthday party from one of the girls at school and all the kids were saying, "Adelyn come sit next to me", it was really cute!
These two get along so well, Isaac was very proud to have his little sister come to school too. He really helped show her the ropes along with a little boy named Carlos, who showed her where to hang her backpack and put her lunch box. It is so sad how fast they grow, I can't believe that she is 3 already!!

Adelyn is obsessed with Diego right now, and actually chose a Diego party over Chuck E Cheese! (We compromised and did both since I am not up for producing an actual party. She loved the compromise, best of both worlds!)

Adelyn was scared of Chuck E Cheese, so she stayed behind while her friends chased him around!

Ben wasn't able to make it to the game because he was at a pediatrics seminar, but it sure made Isaac feel better when he got to talk with daddy on the phone!

Isaac sat the rest of the game on my lap, which is quickly shrinking! We all had so much fun though, and Isaac keeps asking, "When are we going to take daddy to the "carnival's" game!

Our friends, Ed and Cambria, went with us to the game, it was a fun night!

Isaac enjoyed the game. Especially when they hit a home run because the fireworks exploded. Both kids soon were yelling for homeruns because they wanted to see the fireworks. He did really good at the game, he started out sitting next to his best friend, Zach, but soon missed mom, so he finished the game on my lap!

As you can see by Adelyn's face, her favorite part of the game was all of the yummy food! She too, loved the homeruns though, and did amazing at the game!

We like to go up to campus with Ben while he plays vollyball. The kids love to play in the sand, and cool off in the water.

This was from a road trip this past February to Florida. Isaac and Adelyn got to hang out with grandpa C for a whole week on the beach, lots of fun!~

This is Isaac heading off to his first day of pre-school. It was an exciting and sad day for me. Our little boy is growing up soooo fast!
