The boys are 9

Where does the time go? I can hardly believe that the boys are 9 it just seems like yesterday that they were five pounds and we were bringing them home from the hospital and now look at them. So they talked me into a Angry Bird Party and let me tell you I'm angry... well ok just tired. Thanks to Kathleen for helping me out or I don't think I would have been ready when it was time. We made these pom poms and then I got slingshots so the kid could knock down the pigs like the app game. They mostly shot each other and but maybe thats more fun anyway... I can't seem to get the pig in the real game either. The boys had to have fondant after Everett had it at his mario party last year and this was my first time but I cheated a little because I did the marsh mellow kind but I think it worked out, I was a little nervous this morning and said I would never do it again but I may change my mind, but not right away... I think I need a vacation.

Grandpa comes to visit!

So it is always fun when grandpa comes to town. We went to the park in poulsbo and of course had to get doughnuts well maybe that was the whole reason for going to the park. Anyway on another day we went to the Boeing tour up in everett and let me tell you that is a drive. We did take the ferry back and that was a lot faster. It was an amazing building and the tour was not all bad but we couldn't take pictures inside so we settled for some shots in the museum close by. Reagan was always sitting on my Dad's lap and getting him to read them story after story.

Bath time with the the cousins!

I watched the kids the other night while Bo Parri, and John played our coed soccer game and decided that my time would be well spent getting everyone ready for sunday so I piled all of the little ones in the bath and I just couldn't resist snapping this photo strictly for blackmail purposes. When I later unplugged the tub there was some suspicious material that probably didn't get them too clean but it was the thought that counted.

Girls and Valentines Day 11'

McKinley and Reagan had valentines this year with their good buddies Ian and Paul we made these cute hot dogs and gave each other valentines... It was so fun!

Grandma's Tea Party 11'

Every year Carla has a Tea party for all the granddaughters and this year we had a few extra but spiced it up a bit and it was a great time. The girls ate and had punch in their tea cups and then they made cookies and frosted them yummy.

Pinewood Derby!

Well we finally got to have our kids first pinewood derby car race and we put it off til the last minute because of my knee surgery and our ski vacation but we worked it out and the boys had a blast deciding what it's shape would be and what color to paint it. Grant actually won the whole thing beating all the bears too. He went to regionals and took 2nd and his friend Everett won the whole thing there.

Not quite the same Ski Vacation!

Ski Vacation was great this year although I didn't get to ski because of the knee but we all had a great time eating and hot tubbing. The weather didn't really cooperate either so there was no race but I'm sure everyone just gets to think they are the fastest for a whole another year. Steins Brunch what can I say... marvelous... we saw a few celebs... got a massage and a facial, just the greatest weekend ever.
