Man this kids is growing like a weed.  He is so happy and I love his gap teeth smile!

Merry Christmas!

Good thing Regan has a camera and uses it because this is all the Christmas pictures that we got this year.  Regan got a desk, Cayson got a chair which he immediately new was his.  Cannon got a remote control "thing" that wasn't the right "thing" I was told more than once.  Then we went shooting and sledding and back home to a nice warm house!

Happy Birthday Cannon!!  I must say that I am sad that he wouldn't wear his party had this year... oh well I got 5 good years out of it.  Cannon had a great birthday! Donuts and hot cocoa for breakfast, pizza for lunch and tacos for dinner.  Brent gave him his own gun, so of course they had to go and try it out.  Not sure who was more excited.  Now to get him to bed so Santa can come!!

Snow Sculpturing!!

Looks like my kids have been busy making animal snow sculptures.  I must say they are pretty good.  I thought that Cannon was holding Cotton for a minute when he came in to show me.  Regan's dinosaur is a little scary!! Another happy vacation day getting along!!

Snow Day!

I LOVE snow days!  Regan got a good workout in for the day.  Pretending to be a horse and pulling Cannon and Cayson.  Made me tired watching them!  Cayson loved the snow until his hands got cold and then it was ALL over...

Star of the Week!

Cannon got to be the Star of the Week!  It was so fun making this poster and getting to look at all the old pictures of him.  Got me a little teary...   We got to go celebrate in his class room with him.  We took cookies and he got to help me read his favorite story to the class.  Three Billy Goats Gruff! 

Show and Tell = Lost Tooth

I got a call from Cannon's teacher today while I was waiting in line to get him. Of course my stomach dropped thinking something was wrong. It turns out, as he was waiting for his turn at Show and Tell, he had his stuffed dog that he had brought to share and it was in his mouth...... Well you can imagine what happened. Yes another little boy pulled the dog out of his mouth and pulled a tooth with it. His teacher felt so bad. I guess the Tooth Fairy will be making a visit to our house tonight. I think he looks kind if cute!

Christmas Tree

I love going and cutting down our Christmas Tree. Never mind that I get NOOOO say in what we get.  I could point out 50 PERFECT trees and no one would care.  Sad but true.  As soon as the truck is stopped and barely put in park Brent and the kids are out the door and out looking for the PERFECT tree.  Of course Cayson decided to take a nap so I stayed behind.   Luckily Mat and Kristina were with us so Kristina stayed behind with me.  We did manage to find 2 perfect trees, but they will have to wait until at least next year to grace our homes! 
I must say that they did do a good job, but the one I found was of course better....

Thanksgiving

We had a Winward Family Reunion for Thanksgiving this year.  Serena was in charge and she did a amazing job!  Good food and good company.... doesn't get any better than that!

Halloween

For Halloween this year we had a cute skunk, a sweet soccer player and a hunter that did his own face makeup.  Everytime I look at the hunter I can't stop laughing. 

Big Boy!

Lately, one of Cayson's favorite things to do is to eat breakfast with Brent.  He takes over my chair and thinks he is so big!  I can't believe how big he is getting!

Walk to School Day!

Today was Walk to School Day.  We missed the last one and I got the SILENT treatment.  Boy was he mad at me.  So we bundled on up and walked to school today!  It didn't disappoint.

4-wheelin

4-Wheelin is serious business. Both cleaning the machine and riding it. I don't know who is having more fun. The noises that are coming out of Caysons mouth tell me he is pure boy. These two are going to have so much fun together as they grow!!

 

Regan's Whitetale Coues Deer

Regan is turning into quite the little hunter.  She got this opening morning.  Luckily she had school off so she didn't miss any!  This was the first one they glassed up and then it bedded down so they waited for 4 hours until it got up again.  It took her a few, maybe more, shots... but it went down!  So proud of my girl!!
