Farewell 2007, Hello 2008..

In a few hours' time we'll be saying farewell to 2007. And with that, Welcome 2008 :D

I'm not one who makes new year's resolutions, as I know I wouldn't be sticking to them.. But I suppose having resolutions would keep you on your toes on what you're going to achieve in the coming months eh (erm, it doesn't matter lah if you're on your toes for a week tops.. hehe..)

This year.. well, at the end of 2008, I'd like to be able to say I've done a few things:
1. More open in showing my love to my family, friends and loved ones.
2. Cut my debts by 50%.
3. Take a long vacation - at least 1 week. Alone or with someone, belum difikirkan lagi. Hehe..

Tonight I'll be sleeping over at Darls's place. Of course, that's after dinner and a movie with her and Sheils. Although we'll be somewhere nearby The Curve, we won't be joining the crowd doing the New Year countdown.

Had lunch with a dear, dear friend today.
Babe, I really miss our talks lah. I know I've been busy lately with my personal stuff, but hopefully our next lunch / dinner / drink won't be too far ahead in the future..

Morning started off a bit gloomy, but it's getting better as the day goes by.

Update 1
Alhamdulillah I've got an orange Neo. Plate number starts with WQT (haha.. 'cause I'm a Cutey Pie!).. Such a sweeetttt ride, I'm telling ya..! It's a 1.6 Auto. Well, 'cause my skills with manual trans is seriously lacking - baper tahun dah tak bawak manual ekkeke. I'm sticking with auto je, thank you.
I've got it on 7th December, and targetting for first service this weekend. My Neo tak lah travel jauh ke mana pun, paling jauh dah sampai ke Putrajaya for a sleepover at Sheils' place. Other than that, just pergi & balik kerja. Baru tersedar minyak mahal wahahahahha... Selama ni sedap je bawak Waja coz Abah isik minyak kereta tu. Adeih..
Oh.. no worries. I'm still gonna drive around with my Neo. How else am I going to go dating lah kan? ;)
Plans for Neo in 2008? I want to drive up north, visit Lia. I think dia sekeluarga dah 3-4 kali turun KL. And how many times have I went up north to visit her? Sekali je. Itupun masa wedding dia. So, ni dah ada kereta, apa lagi excuse? Lia, nanti aku plan bebetul ye, insyaAllah in the first half of 2008. Maybe can pujuk Sheils to come along (I don't think my parents will let me go alone LOLs..). Jom Sheils? :D
Oh.. also kena find out about classes kat Masjid Negara. Dah ada transport ni, rajin2 lah gi tuntut ilmu. OK Cik Yam?

Update 2
Work related: I think my Dept will be moving again. Not physically, but reporting-wise. We might be transferred (again) to another division, and hence reporting to another Head. Hmmm.. admittedly, based on job functions, it is more appropriate to move to that division, but I guess I'm a bit reluctant as I'm happy reporting to the current Head.

I've been having a lot of dinner meals (say.. 3-5 times a week) with a certain someone. I like him. And I like him a lot. A whole lot..
Ehehehhe.. Tu je nak cerita. And don't ask questions on this matter 'cause you know I'll refuse to answer :) (you've been warned. kekeke..!)

I had breakfast with Mel and Id last Sunday morning. I picked Mel at her apartment, and oh boy was she excited sitting in my Neo hiihih.. kiut je kau Ja..! I'm so glad we had breakfast together - a chance to catch up with stuff. This one was a bit spontaneous la Id, aku suddenly ajak Mel breakfast coz she sounded stressed out :) Next time kita planning extra sikit, and pergi jauh2 sikit, so can include the rest of our classmates ya :))

1) Saturday 24th November: A small gathering with some primary schoolmates (someone called it 'pre-reunion' hehe).. some of whom I've last met during UPSR. Gosh.. it has been THAT long..

2) Sunday 25th November: Lene arranged a picnic, somewhere in Cheras kot.. Wahh.. interesting! Hehehe.. need to discuss food & drink. Lene? Will call you Friday ya darling.

3) Friday 7th December: Dinner date with The Girls, after office hours. Hmm.. need to figure out my transportation. And is there going to be a sleepover afterwards? Ihiks..

4) Finishing off my annual leave. Tinggal 4 hari lagi. Hmm.. someone sudah booking satu hari. 'Jom gi PD' katanya. Have I already said 'Yes'? Hmm...
1 or 2 days simpan untuk Aidil Adha nanti. I guess tinggal sehari lagi to plan for.

On a different note.. I'm missing a dear dear friend, very much. Lama sangat tak jumpa, tak catch up on things. It's been, what, 3 months since we last met? (I know you're reading this :P) In August I think. We must meet up soon my dear, wanna go lunch next week? Banyak rasanya benda nak citer, but somehow I doubt I'll be able to tell you much when we meet nanti. Ehehehe..

DNA confirms it

DNA test confirms that the body of the girl found in the sports bag is Adik Nurin Jazlin who has been missing since August 20th 2007. Read here on The Star Online.

I can't even begin to imagine what Nurin's family is going through.
May Allah grant them strength to go through all this.

Hmmm, turns out I've got a few posts drafted, but not finished so how to publish them? Apasal takde mood nih.. Padahal banyak je benda to write about.

Too many has happened in my life, sometimes I feel like I'm walking in a daze. Things tend to get surreal at times, I even resorted to pinching myself just to see if I've dreamed them up.

OK.. Ni dah kena marah dgn Amir punya pasal, baru la tergerak nak blog. Hehehe..

I'm currently on 'mandatory leave'.. every year each staff at the Bank have to plan for 'mandatory leave' which means 6 consecutive days out of the office. Normally that means 6 days of annual leave lah.. but of course marriage leave / maternity leave / hospitalisation also counts as 'mandatory leave'..

I started my leave last Monday 30th July, and will only be back at the office on Tuesday 7th August.

And believe it or not, I don't have anything planned for this holiday.. *sigh*
Initially thought of going to Pulau Perhentian with some of The Girls. Tapi ended up tak jadi coz timing wasn't particularly right.

Let's see what I've done so far..
I've been to Jln Masjid India and did some shopping for kain ela.. hehehe.. rambang mata siot.
Went to settle some bills kat KLCC and Lot 10.
Went to Mak Ton's house and delivered some fruits and kain ela for her hehe..
Got a haircut. Hmm, all my life I've had long hair, never shorter than shoulder length. I'm still adjusting to my really short haircut. Hehehe.. bila tengok cermin, rasa macam it's not me in the mirror.. Lain giler muka aku.

I still haven't gone for a spa treatment. Nor have I gone to the dentist. Ikea pun tak gi lagi nih. Eh, banyak rupanya benda tak buat lagi..

Although, alhamdulillah dah start ganti puasa. I have 2 more days to ganti... insyaAllah esok, and Monday.

Hmm.. tiba-tiba teringin nak pakai inai la. I'm sure ada a couple tubes of henna kat rumah ni, mana ek..

This was delivered to our house this afternoon around 2pm.



I really think they're delicious, although for some the topping can be a bit on the sweet side.. So for next order, I must ask if they can reduce the sugar.. Hmm, agak-agak boleh tak diorang entertain request ku ini..?

What to say eh? I have been absent for a while. Hehe..

Truth is, I was down with fever, I think the high temperature started last week on Wednesday. I was on MC Thursday, eventhough it was rushing time. I just couldn't muster the energy nor the effort to work, so I guess what else to do but go home and sleep, eh?

My temperature was 39.5 celcius on Thursday, and by Saturday I wasn't feeling any better - in fact it went up to 39.6 by Saturday night. So, Doc gave me a jab on my bum, and only then did I feel my fever coming down.

Alhamdulillah I'm feeling much better now, although I must say plain water still tastes bitter, yucks. How long does it take until this bitter taste escapes me? Boring lah. Lately I've resorted to taking sweet drinks, so I guess sugar level sure koyak ni. Hhehehe...

Mel Ija gave birth to a baby boy yesterday morning, now her and Fique have a complete pair - the adorable Marsya and now the baby boy (I'm not sure if they have chosen a name for the baby.. I'll keep you posted :D )

I was at Tower Records KLCC yesterday, with full intention to buy James Morrison's CD.

Muahahhaa.. Mr Nun has clearly explained what this means to me.. :P And my answer is: Nope. Unless you consider holding hands as making out. :P Yeah, I didn't think so either. Hehe..

Alahai. Macam banyak je.

14. Ever walked out of a movie?
No. Although I should've walked out from Bewitched (bad, bad movie choice Ms Kidman!), King Kong, and Derailed. BIG mistake, Lene. Jen Aniston telah merosakkan movie ini kakakakaka. Apasal lah aku agree nak tengok cerita ni? Oh yes. Because of Clive Owen. Hehehehhe.. yums.

15. Name a movie that made you cry in the theatre
Oh.. Banyak je rasanya. Muahahhaha.. Titanic. Message In A Bottle. Finding Nemo. Cinta the Movie.

16. What's the last movie you saw in the theatre?
Apa ek? Lene? Any idea? Ohhh. Now I vaguely recall. Either it was Ghost Rider, or Music & Lyrics.

17. What's the first movie you remember seeing in the theatre?
Err.. ntah. Some malay movie. For the life of me, I can't recall anything, except that Mak wanted to buy tickets for Pinochio, but we begged her to watch this malay movie instead. Hahaha...

18. What movie do you wish you had never seen?
At the cinema? Derailed. Bewitched. King Kong kehkehkeh. Giler punya monyet besar, boleh syok pulak dgn pompuan tu. On tv? Must've been a few, but I don't remember them.

19. Which is the weirdest movie you enjoyed?
Hmm.. Sliding Doors. I think it's because of the 2 concurrent storylines, with 2 endings.. well sort of. But I like the movie, cause it's something different.

20. What is the scariest movie you've seen?
I don't watch horror / scary movie at the cinema, tak berani. Only catch them on TV, itupun barely. Kat rumah boleh tutup mata dengan bantal, or run away from the TV. LOLs.. I guess scary / horror movies are just not for me.

21. What's the funniest movie you've seen?
Hehh.. ada ke yg truly funny? Aside from P.Ramlee's comedies, nothing worth mentioning. My fave scene is from Nujum Pak Belalang, the part where the 2 penyamun tried to divide the gold coins between themselves inside the cave, lawak!

Day 1. Friday 20 April 2007
Arrived Macau around 8pm. After settled with check-ins and breakfast vouchers, my roommate (K.Laila) and I decided to follow some colleagues and pergi jalan-jalan around Macau Island.


Grandview Hotel, Taipa Island, Macau.

We took the shuttle bus from the Hotel to Macau Island. Macau is made up of 2 main islands, namely Macau Island and Taipa Island, and some other smaller ones. The airport, and our hotel, is in Taipa Island. Macau Island is where the ferry terminal is, plus a whole lot of casino buildings. And hence the very colourful atmosphere. Hehe..

The lights and animation display really caught my eyes. Not to mention the unique hotel designs.

Met up with Kak G, Kak FM and some other colleagues. Decided to join them pulak, in search for something to fill our tummies.


When I saw this design on the pavement, I just had to snap this photo.

Oh did I mention we were lost? The above picture was taken while we were trying to locate the halal restaurant, but we ended up having McDonald's Filet-O-Fish instead. Hehe..

Went jalan-jalan around town, and of course everyone who brought their camera was busy snapping away at the colourful scenes.


One of the four bridges (or is it three? ish.. baru seminggu dah lupa!) which connects Macau Island and Taipa Island. Hmm.. and we've only got ONE Penang Bridge..

We left Macau Island around 12.30midnight. We were quite sure that the cab driver would impose that 50% surchage on fares shown on the meter, mati lah nak bayar tambang teksi!

Erm, apparently that wasn't the case. Does it mean that the 50% surcharge is only practised in Malaysia?

Day 2. Saturday 21 April 2007

Today, Hong Kong time!

Kak G, Kak Laila & me initially signed up for a half-day tour in Hong Kong, but the plan went awry. During breakfast, we discovered that Abg Nan and Abg Mat were both going to Hong Kong, so we asked them if we could tag along. Hehehe.. Sib baik both sporting, so there were 5 of us.
Then Lin asked if she could join us during the ferry ride, and upon reaching HK she would go her own way - to Disneyland. So we decided to "send" her to Disneyland's entrance, afterwhich we would go our way, jalan-jalan around HK.

Ferry ride from Macau to HK took around 50mins, and in HK we decided to purchase the 1-day MTR travel pass.

...although due to time and financial constraints, we only went as far as the main entrance. Hehe.. Itupun dah seronok yang amat :P

We made our way on MTR to Lantau Island. Had lunch there, AGAIN it was McD's Filet-O-Fish. OMG dah jelakkkkk makan burger ikan nih! Knowing we had dinner plans with Sharon, terpaksa lah telan. Need food for energy. Need energy to jalan-jalan!

Somehow or other, the 5 of us queued up to purchase tickets for the cablecar.. (LOLs, don't ask me how we came to that decision! It's all a blur!)

Hehe.. Tak kusangka-sangka, dua abang-abang tu ada sikiiiiiit gayat. Tapi masing-masing tetap maintain macho.

By the time we came down from the hills & cablecar ride, it was past 3pm. So we decided to take the MTR back to HK Central and make our way to the HK Convention Centre. At that point, my kaki dah start lenguh. Jalan pun slowwwww je, asyik kena tinggal dgn A.Nan, K.G & K.Laila. Nampak gaya A.Mat pun dah start pancit hehehe... so we both jalan together la, ketinggalan kat belakang.

OMG.. We travelled on foot a lot. And I mean A LOTTTT..!! Sampai sakit-sakit kaki lah dibuatnya.. But it also meant seeing a lot of sights of Hong Kong. We actually have just walked by a dog park. Hehe.. kalut lah jugak sikit sebanyak.. Mana nak mengelak the dogs themselves, mana nak mengelak their poos. LOLs..


Somewhere near Causeway Bay. We actually walked (yes, we bloody WALKED!!) all the way from Convention Centre to Causeway Bay. It was madness! Giler jauh!


Times Square building / shopping centre, near Causeway Bay. Our meeting point with Sharon. Abg Nan & Abg Mat left us ladies here - they both did not want to join the dinner with Sharon.

We also met up with 4 male colleagues here, and all 8 of us went to a Paki restaurant for some heavy dinner. Since the guys had a late lunch, us 4 girls attacked the food with much gusto. LOLs. Maklumlah, dah 2 hari makan burger, mana cukup. Masing-masing terkam nasi & lauk macam lah dah seminggu tak makan! Kelakar giler. Time tuh dah tak pedulik dengan those 4 guys - you can think whatever you want, I'm hungry!!

I managed to do some shopping in Hong Kong, although honestly, it's seriously was NOT enough! LOLs.. In the space of 90 minutes, I managed to buy 8 t-shirts, 2 baby-tees, 1 denim jacket. I know I should've bought more. Sheesh.

Apart from a bit of stupid, stupid incident involving one of the 4 male colleagues (I refuse to let him spoil my day in HK!), I had FUNNNN!
Penat memang tak terkata lah. Rasa nak tercabut tapak kaki.
But surprisingly, when I did my 90-minute shopping, I completely forgot about my aching feet. Hihihihiihhhh!!

K.G and me agreed that A.Nan & A.Mat were the better travel companions. Hehe.. So we decided that for Zhuhai, we wanted to tag along with A.Nan & A.Mat, and not with any of the 4 male colleagues. Hehhehe..

Day 3. Sunday 22 April 2007

Check-out day, and flight back to KL later in the evening. Which meant we roughly have until 2pm for some shopping in Zhuhai. No time whatsoever for sightseeing. LOLs..

Left the hotel after 8.30am - we thought we were early but apparently not. The queue at both Macau and Zhuhai immigrations were unbelieveably longggg. There must've been a few thousand people there.
By the time we managed to clear Zhuhai's immigration, it was already almost 11am. Almost two bloody hours at immigrations!

However, right after Zhuhai's immigration, there were stairs going down to basement. The first shopping complex we see - and it's underground! All 2 storeys of them! Hehe..


Right after immigration, it's the beginning of shoppers' paradise...

I did some shopping. And again I must stress to you that.. TAK CUKUP MASAAA! *sigh* I managed to buy a pair of sandals (I HAD to get out of the sports shoes, my feet were killing me..), a couple of watches, some ladies' purse, some cosmetic pouch, and a thumbdrive (which turned out to be useless. burn je duit hehehe.. and apparently I wasn't the only one! LOLs..). Mana tak nya.. manjang barang-barang tiruan kat situ eheks..

Left Zhuhai around 2pm, we cleared Macau's immigration at around 3.15pm.

It was definitely a hectic 3D 2N trip, but I came back to KL with a lot of good times, and good buys! What with the next day Monday being a working day, all we could do was compare notes and re-live our weekend of experiences!
Hehe.. so much for Monday being a WORK day :P

I received an invitation to a Secretaries' Week luncheon at Legend Hotel tomorrow. Thanks so much darling Mel for remembering me! *muahh!*

Unfortunately I had to decline as tomorrow is the day of the monthly meeting. :((

Mel, between enjoying lunch while being entertained by Adibah Nor, vs. stuck inside the meeting room... "lunch with Adibah" wins hands down. *sighh*

Am SOOOO looking forward for the weekend. A 3-day 2-night trip to Macau / Zhuhai / Hong Kong sounds exhausting, even more with the thought of MESTI kerja on Monday.

I'm on leave today. And tomorrow too. So it's going to be a loooooooonnngggg weekend for me.
Today.. went to Ibu Tini's shop and bought myself a few tudungs hehe.. 1 very nice (read: mahal), and 3 others so-so. Boleh lah buat pakai gi kerja. Hehehehe!

Am planning to go to Shah Alam.. Wisma PKNS to be exact. Maybe this Saturday morning, dengan Mak. Have been wanting to buy a pair (or two) of nice telekung. I mean, really nice ones.

Rasanya Mak Ton pun nak pergi Shah Alam jugak. I'll give her a ring once the plan is confirmed.

Can't believe it's already Friday. And 16th March to boot! Cepat betul dah halfway through March.. *sigh*

My health is still not a perfect 10, but at least it's better than last week. Apart from the occassional coughing fits which made me welcome death (hahaha! This is Yam being over-dramatic!), alhamdulillah there's no more major headaches and uncomfortable stomachs.

This weekend is going to be kinda hectic, but most definitely welcomed.

On Saturday (that's tomorrow!) I've got a gathering with The Girls at Ija's place. What's extra special about this time around is that Lia & her family (that's her hubby and 2 kids) are coming down to KL, all the way from up north. Yeayy! The last time I met Lia was like ages ago hehe.. and at that time Sheils was still renting at the old place in Cyberjaya. Imagine that.. how time flies..
Eventhough Murn & family won't be able to join us, I know she's going to be in our hearts. So tu kira she's present also lah. Hehhe..

I foresee plenty of good food, lots of good talks, and tonnes of laughter and good times.

However, I won't be spending the night there as on Sunday, MakTon & family will be coming over to err.. sort of celebrate my birthday. Hehehe, belated ke tidak, tak kisah lah! Mak mentioned something about nasi kambing (ok, for the life of me I have no idea what is it actually called kekeke..), a rice dish - with lamb of course - cooked Middle-East-style. Actually this won't be the first time eating this as I've had it before. Sedapppp sangat! Hmm, let's see if I can snap some pictures from both days to share eh? :D

Weird things about me..

1) When I was a toddler, masa minum susu botol, to fall asleep I would play with my ear. As in one hand holding the baby bottle, the other hand's fingers would continuously touch my earlobe until I drift to sleep. LOLs..

2) I cannot drink plain water from a container which has traces / smell of coloured or flavoured drinks. For example I used a mug to drink coffee, once the coffee is finished and I want to drink plain water, I have to get another mug / glass / cup. Or I must wash the coffee mug thoroughly. My plain water should be plain, with no foreign tastes or colour whatsoever hehehehe...

3) I don't quite know how to eat (as in makan sampai licin) a drumstick. Drumstick as in chicken drumstick. Hahaha I'm serious! You would see bits and pieces of chicken meat still stuck kat drumstick tuh. I'm still learning, and I AM getting better at this. LOLs..!

4) I'm normally a messy person, which should reflect an easygoing, not-much-care-for-the-world attitude. But I'm also capable of being extremely fastidious and painstakingly fussy about how / where things should be. Ini rare occassions je. Only when the mood strikes, which is not THAT often.

5) I'm mostly reserved and don't talk much in person. But I'm very "noisy" online (emails, YM, MSN, chats). Hhahaha.. (hmm.. or maybe that's not so weird eh?)

6) I still believe "my one" is out there somewhere.. I somehow believe this saying is true: "There's someone out there who loves you more than you know, and would willingly die for you." .. Eh don't roll your eyes. In this highly cynical world of ours, this is weird, ok.

The birthday came and went. *swoosh!*

Macam, takde lah trauma pun.
Wonder why people (read: women) dread sesangat nak lalui own birthday, especially once they're past 25 years old..
(LOLs.. imagine me grinning like an idiot here. Yours truly here pun was once like that too.. ;D )

Yes, I turned 31 yesterday. Thanks for the lovely wishes and prayers which were sent my way (I'm still receiving those wishes today.. hehe TQ!). This year's celebration (if it can even be called that..) is somewhat subtle. I remember last year I spent the birthday eve and the wee hours of the morning on a sort-of date.

This year, nothing of that sort.

Perhaps it's contributed to the fact that I've been feeling unwell for the whole of last week. (Erm, actually, am still not feeling well.. still coughing, plus the occassional headaches.. cepat lah baik.. napa sakit-sakit nih...?)

Or maybe it's due to the fact that, this year there's no 'someone' to whisk me away.. lols..

No, I didn't get everything on my wishlist. But it's OK.. you don't always get all that you ask for, right..

Besides, I also love presents during non-birthday days.

Lately I've been feeling like I need to get away from KL. I've just been cooped up for too long, I've had it up to here (imagine my hand at my neck hehe..)
Which is why I almost, almost planned a UK-getaway. I've even worked out the budget for it. Surveyed flights and train schedules and fares.

I said 'almost' kan..?

On a brighter note, I'm off to a free-and-easy trip to Macau - flight and hotel all paid for. Pergi je lah. What I'm going to be doing there, is still in planning stage, coz I've got about a month before the actual flying off day.
Some suggestions still under consideration:
(1) Apply for visa to enter China. Go to Shenzhen (or something that sounds like it, nak kena check it out first). Go shopping. Hehehehe
(2) Take a hoverboat to Hong Kong. Day trip. If really tak tau nak gi mana, just hop on MRT (or is it called MTR? confused) and check out the sights at the stations (well, maybe not ALL the stations.. hmm...)

As I said, semua still under planning stage.

Any suggestions what to do / where to go / etc?

I'm at a total loss sebab serious takde idea hehe..

Can't force that feeling..

And, no matter how much person X likes person Y, if Y doesn't feel it then she doesn't. Even if X thinks he's one of God's gifts to women (*me rolling my eyes* hehe..).

Simply titled "Heroes", it's a must-see, right from the beginning. Enough said, I was hooked from Episode 1. I simply cannot stop watching the show, and I cannot tahan waiting for Episode 2, and 3 and 4 and so on... Lambat nyaaaaaaa

But when I happened to catch a teaser about a painter who can paint the future, I was gripped. So I was exclaiming to Kai about "OMG! How cool is THAT?!" when he immediately said: I know! Memang best!

I know, I know.. I put it up in my wishlist for my birthday. But, this purchase, I just have to make.

The last time I included a wristwatch in my daily accessories must have been about 9 months ago, at which point my wristwatch failed on me (well, actually it belonged to Mak, but she gave it for me to use).. Even after 2 times sending to a shop for repair + "overhaul" (eceh, macam kereta lah kau ni jam....!), still tak boleh jalan. So I've given up on that watch. Sayang tau, coz I think that Carven watch is really beautiful.

Erm.. those yang dah ada intention nak belikan jam tangan for my birthday present tu, it's ok darling. There IS something called 'alternating between the two' you know...

Flying low, soaring high

I would be lying if I tell you I'm completely out of my 'down' phase.

Sheils made an assumption of what's causing this 'near depression'. And, come to think of it, she might be right about the cause. Well, part of the cause, that is. A major part kot.. (LOLs..!).

I don't have the motivation to pull myself out of this slump. Wonder why.
Now that I've brought that up, I actually have no excuse pun being in this state for a prolonged period. Then why am I stuck here?

Probably I'm a masochist la, without even realising it. Maybe unconsciously, I enjoy being emotionally tortured and hurt. Eh, I enjoy crying myself to sleep almost every night??

OMG, that is just SO wrong. :P

OK, I exagerrate. It's not THAT often la. Although the thought of crying oneself to sleep, no matter how frequent or seldom, well.. that's not very healthy, right...

I must get back on my two feet. And pronto!
Maybe I need some distraction lah.. Any ideas?

Now.. we've just moved into the second week of 2007. I don't really give a flying f... errr ... flying fish about new year's resolutions. Probably because I've never been so diligently trying to fulfill most of them anyway, hehe..

All that being said, I do have to get my lovely behind to Cameron Highlands before end of March this year - this one due to a promise I made to a friend, who actually shrieked in disbelief upon hearing I've never been to Cameron before. "How come you've never been to Cameron? You ni Malaysian ke tak?!"

Chaits...

My excuse? Err.. Nobody seemed interested to accompany me there. Plus, someone told me there's nothing much to do over there anyway. Although, roses are cheap, eh?

I think I'll pujuk Leen to come with me, and drag the two boys along. Hehe..

A little birdie told me that we might be going to Bali this year, after the Jakarta plans went down the drains. As excited as I am when I heard it, I'm trying to refrain myself from daydreaming too much about this Bali trip hehe..

Nanti frust lagi macam the tak-jadi-pergi-Jakarta episode hahahaha!

Hmm... I guess I do have some things to look forward to in 2007. Some wonderful trips to see new places, with opportunities to meet new people eh?

When my flight takes place, I'm looking forward to soaring high, after being so low..

7) Books and more books - I'm into romance (of course!), a bit of mystery, not so much thriller/horror, and of course, who can say no to comedy, eh...
All that being said, one of my fave is "Tuesdays with Morrie" which I don't think fit any of the above genres. LOLs...


Well, please don't limit yourselves to only the above, of course. Any kind of wishes / presents are of course treasured, worry not my dears.
