Made Calen a blanket. Enjoyed every minute of my family being here and had a hard time saying goodbye! For Christmas this year we gave a local family the pics of the toys. We always go through our toys and donate them before Christmas. This year the sisters let us know of a family that would love them. So we wrapped them up and went and ding dong ditched them at the home on Christmas Eve. It was fun and we were grateful for having someone to help. Then Christmas Day came. We had the sister missionaries over for dinner. They shared with us how awesome it was for us to share so much joy with the family. They were actually at the home when we dropped them off. Neither of us knew this would be the outcome. The sisters were able to record the kids opening the gifts and shared pictures with us. You don't usually get to see the after and it was so special to be able to see and hear how special this was for the family! My heart was bursting and I so hope the kids will always remember this Christmas! They are always so sweet to be excited to give, I hope they will keep this tradition alive and continue it forever!
