Mother's Day

The Month of May always makes me think of Mother's and how lucky I am to be the mother of such a sweet amazing little girl. IT is so fun to watch her learn and grow. She is such a special blessing in my life. I am also a little anxious and nervous and excited all at the same time to have a new little blessing of a baby boy. I think to myself what am I going to do the with 2 children. I look at my sister Heidi with her twins and she is amazing the patience it takes to care for those 2 girls. I can't help but be glad that Hailey is old enough to be a big helper. I am also blessed to have a wonderful Mom that loves and cares for her children and grandchildren. She taught me so much growing up and I am so grateful to have her in my life. I love you Mom.

Easter

We let Hailey dye some Easter eggs at Grandma B's before heading out to the desert. This was the first year she really figured out that the eggs changed color. She wanted most of the eggs to be pink.(her favorite color). Every year for Easter we take a trip down to the desert with Garan's Family. We go four-wheeling and camping. The Morning that we were heading out the desert, Hailey started singing, "I love the desert, I love the desert..." over and over again. We went out to the dinosaur quarry and a jack rabbit came hopping by us. Hailey was so excited because the Easter Bunny came to check on us. It was a lot of fun.Hailey's cousin Macey was also on the desert with us and got to hunt for Easter eggs with Hailey.

It's a Boy

It's a boy!...by ultrasound. We took Hailey with us to our ultrasound so she could hear the doctor tell her if our new baby was going to be a boy or a girl. She's a little upset he's not a girl, but I think she will love her brother. We are excited to have a baby boy. Hurray!-one of each! Now we have to decide where to put a baby boy in our house. I think that we are going to finish a room in the basement and move the computer downstairs and make a playroom/computer room.

Here is something that Hailey is getting excited about now that it is getting close to spring time. Ridding her bike. Everyday that the sun is shining she is asking if we can go to the park so she can ride her bike. Here is a cute picture I took of her all ready to ride.

Another very funny thing that she said was while talking to her aunt Missy on the phone, about Missy's boyfriend. "You have a boyfriend? Where did you find one?" It was so cute. She is now starting to get more excited for her baby brother to come. She asks me what she will be able to help me with when he gets here.

Christmas

Every year Garan's Family has a Christmas party in Huntington Utah, and Santa Claus comes to visit. Hailey told Santa that she wanted a Dolly.

Christmas with a three year old was so fun. Hailey was so excited to open presents. It was so much fun to see her excitement.

Hailey's in preschool

Hailey started asking last Winter when she could go to school. She continued to ask through the Spring, so when school was ending last May I started looking into when they can go to preschool. Turned out as soon as they are three and potty trained. We already had the potty training down and Hailey was turning three in June...perfect. Now where to go to school there are so many places that offer preschool/ daycare, but I wanted her to go somewhere that specifically stressed preschool. Garan and I had seen a car in Wal-mart's parking lot that said Imagination Station preschool. I found their website on the Internet, called and went and met the teacher. They run the preschool out of their basement and they are certified teachers. SO to make this story come to end, Hailey is going to preschool 2 days a week for two hours and loves it. She wakes up every morning and asks "is it a preschool day, mom?" and is very sad when I have to say no. Here are a few pictures we took before the first day.

Now as many people know, the first day of school for the mom is not the easiest and yes I did get a few tears in my eyes. I made it and it is so fun to hear her tell me what she did and what she learned. I love it.

My first blog

Well I have finally decided to enter the world of blogging! Hailey is cute these days and always tells us when we say something we are not suppose to for example(rude, shut-up, dumb). It is very funny. I thought it might be to let everyone see where we were on Easter weekend.
