Kathryn had a neat experience last night with Wendy. She went back to the hospital around 9:00 pm and Travis was with Wendy. Kathryn went in and Wendy started crying. Kathryn told her she felt bad, because every time we went to the room she started crying. Wendy said there were 2 reasons. The first is because she is sad, and that's to be expected, but she said the second reason was every time she saw us, she saw how happy we looked, and she knew she helped complete our family. Wendy is so special, and so strong. She will always be our angel.

Travis Robert Wilcox

He is finally here. We got the call at 3:30 this morning. We finished packing and was on the road at 4:30 am. We got a text saying Wendy, the birth mother gave birth at 07:38 this morning. We didn't make it in time. Everything went good. We spent 5 hours with Travis this afternoon and Kathryn is going to spend the night. We are soooooo happy. Thank you all for your prayers. We still have to wait to sign the papers, so Tuesday is when will be out of the woods. Keep praying that everything works out. Love Rob, Kathryn, Ethan and Travis.

Update

It has been a while since we posted anything. Hope everyone's summer is going well. We have been busy with baseball and golfing mostly. Ethan's baseball team did really good this year. They only lost one game. Too bad it was the last game of the season. Oh well. We also got a new puppy the end of May. We are crazy I know. Her name is Annie and she is a chocolate lab. She seems to learn things easily so we think she will be a pretty good dog. Here are a few pictures from our summer so far.

Escaping Winter

We went out by Canyonlands the end of February and escaped winter for a while. It actually felt like it might be spring, and now it is snowing again. YUCK! Yes, Ethan cooked that hot dog himself. Said it was the best hot dog he ever had. I am tired of snow. It better be sunny in Arizona next week when we go down for spring break!

Something Far Greater (Sea World)

Sea World

Here are a few pictures from Sea World. Even though things didn't go as plan, we made the best of it and had a good time. Ethan was mesmerized at the dolphins. He was pretty mad when he couldn't touch one. We paid for him to feed them, and that was well worth it. He had a blast. The dolphin cove was my favorite part. It was so peaceful. I think we did a lot of healing there.
