Happy 15th Anniversary!

It was Brady and I's 15th Anniversary on July 11, 2012!!!  One of my wonderful friends, Bobbie, offered to watch the boys for 2 days so we could go to Disneyland by ourselves!  She took the boys during the day, my mom watched them overnight and a neighbor helped out for a few hours, too.  A BIG thanks to everybody who made this trip possible!  It was my favorite trip of the year!

We flew to California early Tuesday morning and went right to Disneyland!  We immediately went on the Matterhorn as it had been closed when we had been there in March.

I took a ton of pictures of the 2 of us on rides because - it was just the 2 of us on the rides!!!  We actually got to sit together on the rides; no parent switch!

We actually got to sit down in actual restaurants and eat!  We took time out to have some pommes frites and Mickey beignets at Cafe Orleans!

 Over at California Adventure - this was our first time seeing it complete after all the renovations were done.

We also didn't have to get a Kid's Suite room.  We got the deluxe jacuzzi room!!

On Wednesday, we had a nice lunch to celebrate our anniversary at The Blue Bayou (the one you can see from Pirates of the Caribbean).

 I took a picture of these ducks because we had seen the same ones in March when they were much smaller! Now they were so much bigger.  We also just sat down on a bench for about 2 hours and relaxed and people (and duck) watched).

Happy 15th Anniversary!  May the rest of our anniversaries be just as awesome!

Lake Mary July 2012

Gibson and I hiked up to Lake Mary on July 8, 2012.  Lake Mary was our initial destination, but once we got there, we decided that since it was just the two of us, and since we are such awesome hikers (!), why not go all the way?  So we headed up to Lake Martha and Katherine, too!  It was a long hike, but beautiful and a lot of fun.  And it was a great day together with my boy, Gibson!

We reached the lake!  We have a "favorite spot", so we headed over there to eat our picnic.

We saw a ton of beautiful butterflies that day!  The blue one was our favorite!

Best Christmas Present Ever!

This year, Neil and Chris win the prize of giving me the best Christmas present (yes, it's a mouse pad)!  Brady can *try* to top this, but I doubt he could!

4th of July 2012

To start off our day of festivities :), we went swimming!  We had a lot of fun!

 We went to the Sports Mall and it wasn't very crowded and the water was really nice!  It was fun having daddy there with us, too!

 This was about 2 weeks before we got their puddle jumper floaties, so Gage was floating around the pool with a noodle!

Back at home, Caleb and Gage wanted to try on Gibson's bike helmet!  So cute!!

We set up on the front lawn to do some fireworks!

 Our awesome neighbors made homemade ice cream and Texas sheetcake.  We had a party with the whole street!  We did a few fireworks for Caleb and Gage before their bedtime.  But after they went to bed, we all went into the circle and did a bunch of fireworks for the rest of the kids!

What a fun day!!! (probably one of my favorite holidays because it's right in the middle of summer and you can enjoy it outside!!!!)
