Nixon's Blessing

We blessed Nixon on Sunday October 12th, 2014. Brett gave a beautiful blessing and Nixon was so good... Although I hear that he thought it was very amusing to kick the microphone!! My parents flew in and we were also joined by Brett's parents, Shelley and JD and Mary. It was such a sweet and peaceful day!! I also spoke in Sacrament so I enjoyed my day a lot more after that was over. A sweet lady in my ward wrote down Nixon's blessing and unexpectedly handed it to us after Sacrament. I was so grateful for that sweet gesture!!

Nixon - 5 Months

Nixon turned 5 months old on October 1st... Every day I am so glad that this sweet boy came to our family. He has the most adorable personality and we all love him so so much!! This boy was worth the wait!

- Still exclusively breastfed but expressing a lot of interest in everything we eat
- No longer sleeping through the night
- Discovered his toes and loves to grab and eat them
- Can roll from his front onto his back
- Cut his first tooth... Quickly followed by his second. Both on the bottom!
- Blows lots of bubbles and lots of raspberries!
- One of my favorite things is that he always laughs when I take off his shirt... Even if I only brush by his armpit he starts giggling. He is one ticklish boy!

September

September was filled with some beautiful weather and lots of fun!! I also got a new phone so you will notice than my pictures no longer have a bluish tint to them woohoo!!

Fun in a very random rainstorm!!

The best part of September was when two of our favorites visited!!! Whilst they were here we went to the beach a lot and the girls even got to go to Disneyland!!!

Nixon's first time in the ocean!!

B got to go to a birthday party for her best friend from school, Chloe and Elsa was there!!! Every little girl's dream!
