I took this picture to show  the new house that Dan and Rita had built this last year.  It just happened that our dear old friends, Bob and Pearl, were walking across the yard when I snapped this.

The days were clear and beautiful and sunny.  The Mission Range is still spectacular.  Being here does my heart good....in more ways than one!

Roger and I got to take a walk up the road every day.  This place holds so many memories for me.  I spent most of my growing up years the other side of the valley in our family home just the other side of  Round Butte.

I wanted to preserve and take home a piece of this place with me.....the smell of the roses, the moist mountain air, the sound of gurgling water in the brook, the peaceful days....ahhhhhh

We saw these beautiful white tails in a field near by.  

We went home the north way....via highway 2, which borders Glacier Park. I've always loved this stop along the road at Staircase Falls. Alice Miles traveled with us as far as Shelby, and we ended up stopping in Columbia Falls for a bite of dinner the same time as Barb H, Judy Mac and Donna B. so we enjoyed our dinner together in the motor home before traveling on.

I got to set up my camera and test the lighting on these two super cute kiddo's before we took the workers picture Tuesday night before Devon convention.

After the workers picture, I caught up with the rest of the family for a snap in front of their house.

Eva's 4th Birthday

End of May happenings

Eva's preschool had a little program at the end of the year. Amazing how her awesome teacher works with all of these 4 and 5 years olds, many of whom it is their first year of school.  They can now line up all in a row and keep their eyes on the teacher and keep in tune and on tempo (well, for the most part :-) while preforming a few cute songs.   Eva is in the second row from the front and third from the left side....in case you haven't spotted the cutest little one in the bunch yet :-)

 Abby showed her grace and athleticism while  preforming a ballet piece in a recital at the end of the school year.  She is every teachers dream, because she works so hard and consistently at all she does. (Sorry about the grainy photo's. I haven't mastered low light telephoto pictures)

Sarah also is a natural when it comes to music and tempo....plus she was super cute all decked out in her costumes.

Everything that Sarah does, Eva loves to mimic.....

Uncle Don and Aunt Ellen on their 65th anniversary, looking very happy and proud of this milestone anniversary, and rightly so!  They were also especially appreciative of their daughter Kathy's effort to have a special dinner in their honor.  We were happy to be some of the family invited to share in the occasion!

This is the view we enjoyed out the front window of their granddaughter's house, just outside of Geraldine.

Here is another view that we enjoyed outside Barb's window.  These alpacas were soon to be sheered, but were still sporting their fluffy winter coats here.

Brad and Amy and boys were with us over memorial weekend. Henry always has such a sweet happy smile and disposition :-)

And this one of Ollie!  Sometimes, when it is picture time, his smile is a little too strained and awkward, but when he's not trying too hard, he has a wonderful smile :-)
