4th of July
Anyways, we went to Cedar City this year again for the 4th of July! It's becoming a tradition! :) We spent the night before at the Neibaur's and then woke up early and had breakfast at the park in their neighborhood, and then headed over to the parade! That night we went to their block party and had dinner and fireworks! I LOVE July! Almost as much as December! Something about the patriotic holidays makes me all nostalgic and happy!

Beck is TWO!
I haven't taken him to the doctor for his 2 year checkup yet, so I don't have his stats, but ill insert them when I do.
He’s the best eater out of all 3 kids, he will eat almost anything when he is in the mood, he’s eaten plates of casserole, breakfast sandwiches, things the other two would NEVER touch! I took him to Dr. Kadu awhile back, when he was about 18 months I think, maybe a little younger, and we found out that he is l lactose intolerant, so as of now he drinks soy milk, and only about 3 small sippies a day. He would much rather eat real food. He was eating soy yogurt, but has started to eat a normal yogurt every day and things seem fine, so we’re going with it. His favorite foods are jerky, hot dogs, pizza, blueberries, grapes, apples, melon, oranges, yogurt, cereal, waffles, French toast, quesadillas, cheese, and anything mom or dad are eating.
He is a HORRIBLE sleeper. Also, opposite of the other two kids! Haha! Around 18 months, I started letting him sleep with us because he would NOT sleep in his crib. BIG MISTAKE! He still sleeps with us every single night. It’s driving us insane, but nothing we are doing works, so I’m trying not to stress about it too much. I figure, when we move, he’ll have his own room and maybe we can break it then. He stopped taking naps around the same time, a few times a week he will lay down with us to watch a movie, and will fall asleep. I’m okay with a nap, or no nap, it doesn't effect him too much either way. I finally just took his crib down because I was sick of it taking up space.
He gets really attached to movies! He LOVES; The Aristocats, Minions, Sing, and Trolls. Any of those movies will catch his attention instantly! He likes Mickey mouse Roadster Racers as well.
When he gets his hair cut, I turn on youtube videos of Elk fights and he will sit silently through the whole thing, just mesmerized by it!
He loves to be outside with his siblings! If they go out, he HAS to follow!
He was our first call to poison control! To be fair, it was Quinn who sprayed dusting spray in his mouth. It apparently wasn't a big deal and nothing happened!

He is FAST! And shifty! He will dodge and run all over to get away from you if he has something he isn't supposed to!
We ditched the binky a few months ago and never looked back! Actually, I have one stashed just in case! In case of what? I have no idea. But I think I can toss it because he is totally over it! It was a lot easier than I thought it would be!
He gives the BEST KISSES!! Oh, they melt my heart!! He puckers up and lays one on me and I turn to jello! If he kisses one cheek, he will take his hand, turn your face, and make sure to get the other cheek as well!
He loves animals! He thinks is absolutely wonderful to pretend he’s a puppy or a kitty cat. He loves horses and the picture of him riding Aunt Heidi’s horse!
When he falls asleep, he tosses and turns, and then finally puts his hands behind his head (just like his dad), starts to breathe deep and falls asleep.
He says a lot of words, I don't think I could ever remember them all, but I love when he says Mom, Dad, of course ;), you, me, sye (outside), eeeeee (eat or sippie) nee (quinnie), Ake (Blake), eyes, Mose (nose) and yeah. He says Bo for no, which is as adorable as it is infuriating.
He knows his eyes, ears, nose, mouth, teeth, hair, head, toes, fingers, cheeks, hands, arms, belly, bum, and sometimes neck.
He doesn't like his picture taken, but loves to play with the snapchat filters.
He's had a sleepover at Grandma Kathy's and Grandma Campbell's, both went fairly well!
He loves to mimic Blake and Quinn, whatever they are doing to make people laugh, you can bet he's soon to follow!
He is still his Dad's little buddy! If Beau is around, Beck is RIGHT by his side. He adored his dad and always asks where he is. The other day I found him pretending to lay grout on the tile that Beau had just finished, it was adorable how much he wanted to be like his daddy!
He has NO fear whatsoever! He will jump off any surface, go down the highest slide, and do anything for a thrill! I frequently find him exploring on top of the countertop or table!
Nursery is going a little better lately, he only screams for the first 2 minutes, then he seems to be fine! It was rough at first! Whenever we leave him with a sitter, or anyone other than out parents, we tell them to give him a fruit snack, and the screaming should only last a minute!
He hardly ever sits in his high chair. It goes along with the wanting to be like his siblings. He always just wants to be seated at the table like the rest of us!
This kid is definitely our hardest kid, but he's also out funniest, most loving, most adventurous and most entertaining! I don't know what we'd do without him!
