Happy Birthday! And Spring Break!

For my birthday Chantel and I went rock climbing at the Rock Haus. We had lots of fun climbing and belaying. Then we went and got cold stone ice cream, then to Costa Vida. After which we came home and watched Catching Fire. It was a grand birthday! 

For Spring Break on Monday I worked on the farm and learned how to rope and drive stick (thanks Dillon.) On Tuesday Matthew got home so after feeding and mutual which was an awesome nerf war, I grabbed Chantel and then we went to see him. I was so excited to finally see him after a week! On Wednesday I went with Matthew, Chantel and Matthew's family to Riverdale hot springs. We had so much fun! We played all sorts of games and played in the rain. It was amazing! After we went to Matthew's house and had dinner then went to Jayden Skidmore's house to watch Frozen. On I worked at the auction all day. That's all. Then on Friday I hung out with my friends and worked. I had an awesome spring break and birthday thanks to my amazing family and friends. 

Jr. Prom

I got asked by Matthew Swink to Jr. Prom again! He asked me with gold fish in my bathtub and said, "You're quite the catch and we'd make a perfect match, will you go to prom with me?" I responded by filling his bathtub with balloons and said just popping in to say....YES!

So Chantel and I went dress shopping at Belles and found 2 really pretty dresses! Her's is coral and mine is purple.  

The day of the actual dance he picked me up for the day date then we went and got Taya. We went to Matthew's house for crepes then to Providence elementary for an awesome nerf war!! Then we got dropped off and I went and got my flower then to Auntie Kelly's to get my hair done. 

He picked me up at about 5 and then we went to Merlin Olsen park to go take pictures. We had fun on the bridge and on the swings (not to mention the rock wall.) After pictures we went to Matthew's house for amazing steak and scallops. We hung out for a while at Matthew's and watched "9". Then we went to the dance and danced the night away and also did promenade which was fun! After the dance we went to the Bluebird and got Iron Ports and Limeades then back to Josh's where we hung out and watched some great "Adventure time!" We had Tavin and Gabby, Josh and Taya and Matthew and I in our group.

Hawaii!!

We are finally going to Hawaii!! We left February 26, but that morning was our psych 1010 final and Matthew, Chantel and I didn't have to take it so instead we went and got breakfast before I flew out.  We got Old Gris Mill and then we to Macey's to eat them. We then drove to SLC international and caught our airplane airplane at 12:20. We had a long 7 hour flight over. So I watched movies and hung out forever! We finally landed in Honolulu and were able to get off the plane. Sherleen and Denis met us there with beautiful leis we then drove an hour to their house and had dinner in Laie. 

On Thursday we got up and Jackson and I went surfing at 8 am! It was so nice and warm!! We walked to Laie point and looked out over the ocean and had fun there. Then we got back and drove to Pearl Harbor and went on a tour of the USS Arizona. After Pearl Harbor we headed home and got yummy fish tacos!
Friday we went Goat Island and the beach nearby. We swam for a while then headed back to the house and got ready to go the PCC. In the PCC we met Sherleen then went around to 3 different islands (Hawaii, Samoa, and Tonga) We also ran into one of Jackson's mission friends and he took us on a canoe ride. Then we watched the parade of Islands. It was so cool! Sierra and I got henna tattoos on our ankles. They were fun! Then we went back to the house for a bit and then headed back to the PCC for a luau. It was super yummy! Then we went to the Breath of Life show. All of the PCC was amazing!!

Saturday was our beach day so we went to the swap meet in Honolulu and got all sorts of souvenirs. Then we went to Hanuama bay and went snorkeling it was amazing!! We saw all sorts of fish and everything else you could imagine! Then we headed back home to the North Shore and went to Shark's cove and Sunset Beach. It was amazing to watch all the huge waves and the surfers trying to ride them. 

On Sunday we woke up at 4:30 in the morning to go catch our plane and drove the hour to Honolulu but when we got there we got the news that our plane had been struck by lightning and we had been bumped to the Red Eye which was at 9:00 that night. So we headed back to our house and went to church with Denis and Sherleen. 

We finally arrived home at 5:30 AM on Monday. I made it to school by 8:30 which I was highly impressed with. This vacation was so much fun!!
