Blessing from Heaven

My mom wanted to come see the boys before Christmas and it was looking like life was too busy to break away and come down. I wasn't planning on her coming until the day she came and this is what happened. Brett and I took the boys to get hair cuts for our family picture next week. We went to a local Supercuts and after Tino had his hair cut he was roaming around with his lollipop and suddenly threw up on the ground. I was changing the baby's diaper, left the baby, grabbed Tino's arm and rushed outside. I held him over the trash can/ ashtray (very stinky) and he threw up again. When we arrived home Tino walked to the toilet and threw up again. We put the boys to bed and thought we were in the clear. I fell asleep on the couch. I was so tired! I woke up to chaos. My mom was there. Tino had already thrown up on his bed. The baby was awake and crying. I was supposed to be packing. I have never been so happy to see my mom. She slept in Tino's bed so I was hoping to sleep good. But he threw up again. My mom gave him water from the sink. He asked me for water too, and I gave him some and he climbed into bed with me and Brett. Shortly after Tino and I woke up to him throwing up again. I couldn't give him more water or it would dehydrate him more if he threw it up again. He woke up one more time crying for water, then slept the rest of the night. In the morning he was really thirsty, drank lots of water and hasn't thrown up all day! Hurray, I'm glad that's over. We had a productive and fun day with my mom. She brought them star wars light sabers and guns. Thank you mom but especially Thank you Heavenly Father! He knew I was going to need her today.

A trip to UT

We are all ready to go. But a trip that would normally take us 11 hours is turning into 13 1/2 hours with traffic. We aren't out of here yet! I'm not looking forward to this drive. I just want to be there.

Pirates

Last Saturday Brett took us to the Pirate Adventure Dinner. Me and the boys dressed up like pirates. We where in the yellow pirate section and I was called up to be a volunteer in the competition section of the adventure. I had to throw yellow cannonballs to our pirate who was standing on a platform about 15 feet above me. It took me a few tosses to get the hang of it, but I finally was able to toss enough, that our pirate could catch, to feel ok with how I did. We were on a team and we didn't win. Tino and Nix both loved the fighting, the pirates and even the food. After assessing all the pirates, Nix said, "I like the yellow pirate. Which pirate is ours?" The boys had their picture taken with him at the end.

The Great Park

The boys started their day coloring on their faces with washable markers. I said the face coloring is going to have to stop after Halloween.

We decided to go to the Great Park today and ride the Jack-o-Lantern balloon after having lunch with daddy. We heard there were new things at the park. So we went and discovered a free merry-go-round, and a new playground with fun rocks to climb on. The boys absolutely loved it... by the time we went to the playground my cell phone battery died, so I didn't get any pictures of it. They have solar trash cans and we love the bathrooms there. If you get a chance to go, they are open Thur-Sun, they close at 3pm and open up again at 7pm for night rides on the balloon. I'm not sure when the Jack-O-Lantern face comes off.

A First

Corbs' first time in an airplane and his first time in Utah. Him and I went there to see my niece play her flute in the Conference Center. While we were there we had so much fun staying at different places and seeing as many people as we could without having a car. I have so much family in Utah! Thank you Brett for flying me out there! I love you!

All I had was my iPhone so all the pictures are taken with only it. Here is Corbs in the plane.

We drove into Salt Lake and had so much fun checking out Temple Square.

We met Jenny and Pais for lunch.

My little buddy for the weekend! Love this baby! The church office building amazed me. The North Visitor Center amazed me.

This beautiful girl amazed me. I couldn't believe how great the Suzuki Association of UT sounded at their concert. They did a wonderful job and I know Park worked hard! I was so happy to have been there! Corbs did a great job at being quiet for the concert too. He looks pretty chubby in this picture. ;D

I was able to meet and catch up with my friend Sara and our twin boys.

We had to show Brett that we were having the time of our lives. I really missed him though.

We had a chance to go see Grandpa and really enjoyed our visit. I'm so glad we were able to see him.

Corbs was well taken care of by his cousins!

A First

Nix had his first cavities filled. He's holding the jump rope he picked out of the toy box, and a piece of gum from the reception desk.

Tino peed in the potty for the first time... after that he peed all over the house the rest of the day, but he had a first. Candy isn't motivating enough for him to go again, we'll have to wait a little bit before we try again.

Nix and Corbs playing video games together. They were both very much into it. Nix was playing Hot Wheels on the DS.

Tino is on the lid for their lego box, pretending he's a pirate and is about to slid off the couch with his boat. He has a great imagination.

Cousin Treat

Sisi spent the day with us, and we had so much fun. She cut her pizza really small and wanted to take a silly picture with it and Nix. "What are they feeding us? Tiny food?" They crack me up! I would have her come stay here any day of the week for as long as she wants! Vanessa stayed the night with us the night before, with both her kids, and took Ash to Legoland while Sisi stayed to play. I think we had more fun!

Blessing day

My Corbs and my beautiful mother and grandmother! I love how chubby I look! I need good milk for the growing baby! This time will pass too quick! I have the rest of my life to be fit and thin. It's not important to me if it's not important to Brett anyways! I love to be in good shape, but I love me a sweet angel from heaven MORE! I have learned so much from these women in my life, I am so grateful for family, the Lord had it right when he created FAMILIES!

Home

Home is where we love to be! Nix took this picture of Corbs after he put all of Tino's ties on him. I love my sweet boys.

Then I took a picture of Nix after he put a couple ties on himself.

Tino thinks he is Darth Vadar, well I guess it's cuz he looks like him here. Next year he will need to be something on the side of GOOD.

Tino can climb up and down from all the counters in our home. He climbed into the sink and washed the mirror and made himself nice and wet and doesn't mind walking around in sopping wet shorts.

A first

Nix's first soccer game. Here is a picture of his slide goal. He played very well. It rained for half the game, the boys all had a lot of fun running around and playing their first game together.
