I LOVE Jackson Hole!

I have memories there from the time I was little and i'm excited that we have had the opportunity to go back so many times!

Here are some of the pictures that we took... (obviously we took a lot more, Amy took our engagement pictures!)

we gave Anabelle a bath in the sink :) she was a little slippery to hold but cute as every!

And of course it takes at least 2 people to dry her off and get her dressed... or maybe we just all love pampering her...

This little baby calf was born about 15 min before we drove by... the mom was being very protective :)

Engagement Party

My mom and Aunt were so sweet and threw me and Brian an engagement party! It was so fun to celebrate with family and friends and to spend time together!

Even though it was in April it was still snowy in Rexburg :( so the pictures out side didn't turn out but I still want to share!

Graduation

for those of you that didn't hear...

I GRADUATED!!!!!!!!!

It's still pretty unreal that I am done with school...

It has been an amazing 4 1/2 years

I LOVED BYU-Idaho so much

Its hard to explain how special BYU-Idaho really is but those of

you who have gone to school there know what I am talking about

During my time at BYU-Idaho I grew and changed in ways that I had never imagined,

I met some of the most important people to me, and I got to spend time with my brothers in a setting that most people don't get to experience with their siblings

Speaking of siblings, I was so happy that my parents, brothers and their wives (and especially baby Anabelle) and Brian could be at my graduation!

YEAH! thanks so Brian still going to school it will be back to Rexburg for us after the wedding... I'm not going to lie I'm excited to not have to say good-bye so soon, although I will now experience Rexburg in a way I didn't think I would... MARRIED!!!!!

WE'RE GETTING MARRIED!!!!

This post is a long time coming!

March 25, 2011 was the PERFECT day :)

I had been planning on going up to visit brian that weekend and was anxious to leave all day

I was pretty devastated when I looked at the window during my lunch break and say SNOW!

BUT! snow was NOT going to stop me from seeing Brian (I hate long distance... and me and Brian have had our fair share!)

I left right from school and headed to Rexburg! Luckily by the time I left most of the snow had melted and there wasn't any on the roads! YEAH!!!!

The drive went great and I got to Rexburg around 7

As soon as I got there I went to Brian's apt and we headed to dinner... I had been craving Jimmy Johns all week and so that is where we went :)

Dinner was delicious and we had so much fun being together!

Looking back on it Brian was acting a little different but at the time I was oblivious! I should have been suspicious as he kept calling his roommate Sam, especially because there conversation was a little awkward haha

Next step was back to Brian's apartment to get him a sweatshirt, and then to head out to a pond that we had gone on a date to the last semester (side note: this is actually where I had been hoping Brian would propose :)

We made a pit stop at a frozen yogurt shop and hat some dessert

We FINALLY got to the duck pond and were walking up to the picnic area when I saw what was waiting for us!

Brian had it all set up with candles (that actually wouldn't stay lit thanks to Rexburg wind)

He turned on some romantic music and we danced :) Brian loves to dance and I'm not going to lie I love dancing with him :)

Then he started saying some sweet things and before I knew it he was on one knee with a beautiful ring in his hand!

The proposal was PERFECT! romantic and intimate and just what I have always dreamed of!

If you made it this far down the post you can now see some fun pictures! Brian was so thoughtful and had my friend Brittany Hambrick (who is actually a photographer) hiding in the background taking pictures! I love the pictures and am so happy to have them!

These are the candles that were all over the picnic table. I dont know if you can tell but these are actually made out of SNOW! brian made probably about 40 of these and carved out a center for a little votive candle! It didn't even matter that it was windy and they wouldn't stay lit, it was the cutest thing! :)

WERE GETTING MARRIED!!!!!!!

Our date is set and we have been working hard to get everything ready! We hope to see you all at our wedding :)

Cartwheels....

OHHHHHHHHH! Thats how its done!

Maybe if someone would have shown my this diagram a long time ago....

I would actually be able to do cartwheels

YES! I know its embarrassing I'm athletic

and I dance... I danced on a State championship dance team for 3 years!

And yet I cannot do cartwheels..

I think I'm going to print this diagram and start practicing as soon as Spring decides to show its face :)

I think doing cartwheels would make me happy

It seem like a happy activity, young and carefree

and it reminds me of summer!

Oh yes I said it

VALENTINES DAY

I have always LOVED valentines day!

But it helps growing up in a family where:

*My Dad always remembered to bring home flowers

not only for my Mom but for me too

*My Mom always surprised me with a Valentines Day present :)

(usually a cute outfit to wear to school, Thanks Mom)

*My brothers always sent flowers and/or balloons to the school

to be delivered to my classroom

Who wouldn't like Valentines Day right?

Okay I will admit there were times that Valentines Day wasn't my favorite

but when my girlfriends would complain about the Holiday I would kindly remind them that some day they will more then likely LOVE valentines day!

And speaking form experience that day has come true :)

The school District that I teach in was kind enough to cancel school on Valentines day (okay not FOR valentines day but it worked out nicely!)

I hitched a ride Friday after school with another girl that is in Utah student teaching and we road tripped to Rexburg :)

It was so fun to be back

I have missed that little town I have come to know as a second home

I stayed with my best friend Stephanie (she got back from her mission in Nov.)

And

Spent lots of time with my Valentine, Brian!

The week before I had be tirelessly working on my gift for him...

I'm pretty happy with how it turned out!

disclaimer: gifts are the one thing I don't NEED on Valentines day, just some flowers and a nice love letter are good for me :)

All of which I would LOVE to live with

Unfortunately, every one lives pretty far from where I am student teaching
