Once again the infamous Antis Roofing & Waterproofing (ARW) House of Blues Party is officially over!! I have a husband again!! This year he was in charge of the WHOLE THING. It was filled to max capacity at 1,400 people - and I was in the middle of it all.... videoing/photographing!

I am so proud of my husband for putting on a great party and also being recognized for an award for his stellar performance and skills - Tonight is an Awards Night and I hope he wins!! Off to another night of fun :) Until Next Year....

Wallace Family - July 2012

Lots to catch up on! My family came to visit for 1 week - they stayed 1 night at Aaron and I's place.... thankfully! Our 1bedroom/1bathroom apartment is a little bit squishy when you have 5 extra people in there! Since my family moved to Sandy, Ut 3 years ago they haven't had the chance to come back down and visit so this was our first time seeing them in Cali for 3 years! What a long awaited reunion! Needless to say, they were THRILLED to see the beach. Here are a few pics!

The first few pics are just an update of whats been happening lately.... Aaron's work, ARW, has been involved with Habitat for Humanity for a long time. A huge thing that happened 2 weeks ago was aaron's uncle Charlie, daughter Ally and son Erek got the chance to go to Mongolia for 1 week and build houses for people there that are in need. They are just getting back today so we haven't had much of a chance to talk about the experience but from what he's told us so far, it was incredible. Aaron and I really hope to get the chance to go next year. We'll see. What a wonderful thing to do and truly it was a lot of hard work.

Now off into a whole different subject...... I made homemade cookies for the FIRST TIME this weekend. My Mother in law, Denise, makes the best chocolate chip cookies... naturally mine weren't AS good but they were close and Aaron was satisfied. Go me.

And the most exciting news........ MY FAMLY IS COMING ON THURSDAY! I am thrilled to say the least. They moved to Utah 3 years ago and haven't had the opportunity to come down here yet and now they are finally making it happen. We are going to go to the beach everyday and Sea World one day! I am so excited.... the only thing i'm most bummed about is that Aaron will be working about 70 hours the exact same week they are here.... not such good timing after all..... but what can ya do? Little Miss Paisley June is getting so big... she'll be 7 next February.

And Mr. Sir William is a big 11 year old now whom I just adore and love.

WORKING IT OUT - you can do it too!

Ever since I met my husband almost 5 years ago he's got me into working out... whether it was at the BYU Idaho gym... walking around outside... bike rides... lifting weights.... He was there with me by my side. Now that he's got himself a "work out partner" now, who's much bigger and stronger then I... I usually go with a friend or by myself. Honestly I think I like the friend just as an excuse to go but when I get there I'd rather be by myself so I can then go as hard and easy as I want and not succumb to the pressures of those around me. Anyways, I got a bike for Christmas and i'll be honest.. I have only ridden it maybe 3 times... However the bikes at the gym, they are another story. I'm on them a lot. A Lot. I do 2 spinning classes a week and am now adding days in between on my own with the bikes they have there. Today I did 10 miles. Now 10 miles may be small to others and large for some but for me, it's just right. It takes me about 1 Hour to do 10 miles and I just jam out to my music. It's pretty sweet. Every now and then I like some weight lifting and running but biking has been suiting my fancy for a while now. It is just me or do I go in and out of phases? I was OBSESSED with running a few months ago and now I'm obsessed with biking. You know what..... I think just as long as i'm getting my work outs in then i'm alright. I found some great fitness quotes on Pintrest that I wanted to share in hopes that it will motivate you to get to the gym! BECAUSE YOU'RE WORTH IT!

4th of July Ward Party

One of my favorite things about this holiday is the Ward Party and seeing our Primary kids outside of church! Yes I actually do wear regular clothes! lol..... A day off together is so nice too! The only thing I am bummed about is the weather.... it's only 72 today! Not hot enough to hit the pool for us..... the rest of the week is in the mid-80's though! Happy 4th of July! I love my Freedom and am so grateful for it! (here are some pics) Aaron and I :)
