Back_Yard Awesomeness!!!!

The Long awaited time has arrived; we finally have a decent back yard. Aric has promissed me that our yard would be fenced and ready by the time Lizzy was born and that was a year ago. At that time we did not need new grass, but with al the work that we put in the yard, our grass was destroyed. We tried planting some grass, but it seemed way too slow and impossible. Finally we decided to buy sod and it was the best decison we made. :D My fence is still not finished; Aric has to trim it and put some gates in, but it looks way better than it did before. Having a neighbour whos related to us with a forklift is the best thing ever. :D

This was the back-yard before we added the grass. We also bought a shed that I totally love!!!!! It is nice to have a place to put our stuff in especially because we don't even have a garage. We have some storage units, but they are not close to us so we can access it whenever we want.

Laying down the grass was so exciting. Aren kept saying that the grass was real. LOL I first wanted to take the kids and my parents on a little trip so they would be surprised, but I realized that it would be a better experience for them to see the back yard come alive. :D They sure enjoyed it!!!!

Everyone that helped out; my mom took the picture so she is not in it. Thank you everyone again; we could not have done it without you!!!!! We also enjoyed corn-dogs, cookies made by Julie, and cold drinks. I never thought corn-dog tasted that good!!!! LOL

And this is the fruit of our labors; it turned out amazing!!!!! We also installed a sprinkler system so it would make it a lot easier to keep the grass alive. Now Aren wants a grass party with her friends and she already made some invitations. I could spend my whole day in the yard now; thanks Aric!!!!!

 Happy Birthday Lizzy!!!!!
I can't believe my baby girl turned one already!!!!!

• She is such a happy and content baby. 
• She has been a good sleeper from the beginning and a good eater too. 
• She loves to take walks with nagytata (grandpa) and play with her toys. 
• She loves to hug stuffed animals and she loves toys that make sound. 
• She loves books and could keep herself entertained if she can just flip through a book. 
• She is very opinionated and even if she can't talk, she can let us know if she does or does not like something.
• Lizzy gives the sweetest hugs and kisses; she just melts our hearts!!!! 
• She loves when nagymama (grandma) feeds her and she loves Ramen Noodle soup (my mom's favorite too) LOL. 
• She used to like avocados, but not anymore. 
• Lately I discovered that although she does not keep hair accessories on her head, she does not mind hear bands or hats. 
• Lizzy is a great crawler and she has no interest in walking; I just realized that last night in my dreams she decided to walk and she did so good. LOL
• She does not say much, but every now and then I have the impression that she says some words that make sense. Today I thought I heard her say come out in Hungarian. 
• Lizzy hates shoes!!!! I can't keep them on her feet!!! 
• She also loves to go to the pool; she loves to splash!!!

10 Year VA Mission Reunion

 Over Father's Day weekend we went to my 10 year mission reunion; we decided to go camping and mingle instead of having a traditional mission reunion where you don't get the chance to talk that much. It was a great turn out; a very cold night, but still fun.

 I was so excited that my trainer, Sister Westberg, was able to come from AZ; the reunion was at East Canyon resort.

 I served in a threesome with Sister Wood; I only saw 2 of my companions.

This is a picture of all the missionaries that were able to come; some served before me and actually I never served under President and Sister Feller; they left right when I got there. My mission president was supposed to be there too with his wife, but he had some health issues.

And this is a picture of the sister missionaries during our mission in Virginia; it was taken at a sister's conference and we all had matching scarfs; I am not sure what I did with mine.

I am so glad that I had a chance to serve a mission; Virginia was the best mission on earth for me at that time. I learned so much and I grew so much during those 18 months. I love the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ and the joy and happiness it brought to my life; I would not be the same person without it. I am so thankful for the sacrifice of Christ and that He made it possible for us to return to Heavenly Father. I am also thankful for the Plan of Salvation and for modern day Prophets; President Thomas S Monson is our prophet today and I love listening to General Conference. God Lives and The Church of Jesus Christ is once again on Earth; how awesome is that!!!! I truly feel blessed to be on Earth during this dispensation of time.
