Small Blessings

Sometimes little things that happen, make a mother's heart smile. The other day they were playing quietly (a scary thing in itself) in Rylie's room. I popped my head in to find this sight...

It's moments like this that help us get through the fights in the car, arguing over a toy and all the other sibling squabbles that pop up. For a moment on a quiet evening...

And since I have taken the time to actually sit down and blog, I will add some more pictures from recent events...

There are so many things that have to get done this time of year. This year I am determined NOT to let it get me super stressed out...HOWEVER...it does make me happy to check things of my "To Do" list! I guess that is just the type of person I am. So, it thrills me to have my Christmas card designed and ordered, candy made, and several gifts wrapped under the tree!
As I sit here, admiring the beautiful lights on my windows, I am reminded that I am so blessed...I have an awesome family, amazing friends, a warm home...the list could go on. Most importantly, I am blessed to have a God who loved me enough to send his son to die for me...If that doesn't get me through this stressful time of year...well, He will get me through. Let the craziness begin!!

Sick...Blah

I have been sick since Saturday and just when I thought I was better...it's back. I am planning going straight home and going to bed tonight... The kids will be mad that we are missing church (which we seldom do) but if my head explodes, I want to be in my own home when it happens...

I took some really great pictures of the kids last night...unfortunatley I used my sister's camera and do not have the micro USB cord to get them off the camera...so ***Coming Soon - Cute pictures***

Turning over a new leaf this fall....

It has been WAY too long since I last blogged. My friend Amy inspired me to get going again...so here we go! The kids are growing so fast I can't believe it. My new goal is to blog once a week, so you can see them...we will see if I can do that. Here goes week 1!

I am so thankful to have a great family and friends who I love dearly. The last few weeks have been toug for several people in my Church family and it has made me appreciate how blessed I am to have health and happiness!!

Duck Pond

Today Kyrian wanted to go to the Duck Pond to feed the ducks, so we did! The kids and I had a really good time and they let me get some good pictures! Enjoy!

Rylie's first haircut

Rylie finally got her 1st haircut! I held off as long as I could, because I didn't want to cut off those pretty baby curls, but the mullet HAD to go! She was in a really good mood, until she figured out what we were doing. The pictures pretty much speak for themselves...Enjoy!
