- Red Butte Cafe
- most awkward dining experience
- PLUS Diet Coke practically thrown at me by my waiter (he clearly does not approve of DC)
- Fireworks in Sugar House Park = splendidiferous
- Weddings & work...lots of both

Epihany
This, ladies (and Future Leader's of America), is how to catch a man.
My Double Dream Hands (would) bring all the boys to the yard.

Rehab
It's been a while. I've been in rehab (aka my room), recuperating from a month-long illness.
Yep.
One month.
October, to be exact.
My heart is sad, because here in Utah, that means I've missed fall. AND all the fun of Pre-Halloween celebrations. Boo. For shame.
I scoff in the general direction of sinus infections. A pox on it's household.
SIDEBAR: did you know that cursing someone with a pox is hoping for said personage to catch syphillis? Kind puts a new spin on it; don'tcha think?

Up
What does one do at 3am? Sleep? Don't be silly!
Blog? Clearly.
Leap 3 ft from the bed to the door to reach the bathroom mecca whilst escaping a (possibly hallucinatory) spider? Indeed.
Make lists? Check.
Wonder how tired you will actually be allllll day tomorrow? Yup.

Pho-NO, you didn't!
I know my blog has unintentionally turned into a place for public reprimands, but, like Uncle Ben said "With great blog-space, comes great responsibility." Something like that.
So today's rant is actually yesterday's rant.
BUT
the phones MUST. BE. PUT. AWAY.
I highly doubt, at 21, you are a medical professional in need of constant patient updates.
Your friend, boyfriend, girlfriend, potential girlfriend/boyfriend, drug dealer can wait an hour.
And no matter how "stealth" you think you are being, it isn't working.
Yes, I see you, yes you, on the stand. Texting away.
Fail.
And you, the one with both hands in your purse, I know what you're doing. We all do.
Fail.
Slow typer. I see you, too. Even when you move at an infinitesimally slow rate, I see the phone and your super awkward slow finger curls.
FAIL.
So can we maybe have just one hour without out our cellular besties? Please?
Cause, one day soon I'm gonna slap those suckers outta your hand. Which won't be very Christ-like. Then I'll feel bad...and look crazy, which is bad. And you'll have a broken phone and a broken relationship, which is also bad.
So, avoid irreparable damage to your social life and mine, and just power down for that one block on Sunday.

Yes. That's a Mormonad. It's come to this.
Ladies, Gentlemen:
When attending a religious meeting our minds should (hopefully) be focused on whatever divine message is being shared. I know we can't always control how engaging the topic or speaker is, but we can still listen or at least pretend.BUT
