Growing pounds & inches

Oh...my boys keep on growing, it's so fun to see them get older and learn more each day. This entry is going to be a quick summary of the past as well as of their stats!

LOGAN: 3 years old, 34 lbs, 37 inches tall, loves crepes for breakfast, has a very selective diet unless it's something sweet, contagious laugh, irresistible smile, loves to play the Wii with his daddy, loves to play & watch sports, LOVES to wrestle, knows his alphabet and 1-10 numbers, identifies letters everywhere we go, enjoys coloring, likes to play with his cars & dinosaurs, loves Curious George, very insistent on getting HIS way, loves to wear his BLUE shirts, likes being a Sunbeam & enjoys singing time with all the kids at church, he's a big helper with his brother-he can always put a smile on Trevor's face, loves his blankie, likes to play in the snow, he's quick to follow anything with 'PLEASE'-in hopes that will get his way more quickly, loves helping mom cook in the kitchen-as long as he gets to taste test, starting to work on toilet training-not very interested, when in the car-he thinks the sun is going to melt him....we love our Logan!!!


TREVOR: 6 months old, 17.2 lbs, 26 inches tall, smiles & giggles for everyone, loves to watch his big brother, rolls ALL OVER, has started eating baby cereal & some baby foods, has swollen gums--bottom teeth are almost ready to erupt, has learned being in his car-seat isn't so torturous after all, doesn't want to miss a moment in life--so he takes cat naps throughout the day, still learning how to sleep through the night--aka doesn't, loves being held, really loves his jumping activity center, doesn't like to hold still for anything, anything he can get his hands on GOES straight to his MOUTH...we sure love you Trevor!!!


BROTHERS FOREVER!!!! While I was in Utah, I used my dad's camera and lights and took all these pictures of the boys! It's been fun editing them, I'm so glad so many turned out because both boys didn't have much patience with me when taking the pictures.




Had to include this picture...despite eating some nasty rice cereal, Trevor was quick to smile!!
Apparently jumping was a little too much, I had left him for a few minutes to put Logan down for a nap and came back to find him asleep. I hesitated moving him not knowing if he would stay asleep or not, but the move was successful he stayed asleep. Poor buddy.Here's a fun video clip of my jumping jellybeans and how entertaining it can be around our house. I sure love my boys!!!

When the boys & I were in Utah, all of us gals & kids went to Home Depot to gather the supplies we needed to make these really neat chore charts. All the kids were having so much fun together, they didn't want to leave the store. I haven't finished my chore chart, but when I do I'll show ya how cute it really turned out to be. Logan really misses hanging out with all his cousins. He asks frequently about going and playing with them every few days, one day hopefully!

And finally, the long awaited slide show of our Florida trip. It took awhile to go through all the pictures, but it's so fun to see pictures and remember how much fun we really had going to theme parks for 7 days. What an amazing awesome trip!!!

Logan turned 3!!!!

Well, time keeps going as my blog gets further and further behind. Though keeping busy sure helps the winter months past more quickly too! We have been busy traveling all over this past few months and holidays--from Boise to Utah to Orlando to Alaska to Utah again. I'll post pictures of the Orlando trip later.

Most importantly I can't forget to mention Logan turned three!!! Crazy how kids grow up so fast. He had a fun birthday celebration with cousins and grandparents this year. We spent a few hours at Kangaroo Zoo, some how I think the kids could have kept playing all day, but us Mommies were tired and ready for lunch.

So nothing better than lunch at McDonald's and playing even more. From all that hard playing, the kids sure worked up an appetite and ate all their lunches. We then enjoyed birthday cupcakes for dessert.

We celebrated with my family the next night with going out to Texas Roadhouse (more of my choice than Logan's). Afterwards, we had cake & presents. Yes...Logan is blowing out candles on a number 3 cake not the letter E. Logan was very excited for all the frosting on the cupcakes!!! Daddy joined us in singing happy birthday via skype! Happy Birthday to our Logan, we love you so much!!!

Fun times never end

The boys and I sure had a blast being at Grandma & Grandpa's house for three weeks. We can't wait to live closer to family, such fun memories. Logan was helping his mommy make brownies, so much fun being an assistant.

A few randoms over the time we spent at grandpa & grandma's. Logan helped rake up leaves, yes it was during the month of December...we had a few warm days in the 40's and Logan loved playing outside. Logan's highlight of course, was seeing Santa-- "ho,ho,ho" in the yard each night. Trevor sure loved the added attention, who doesn't enjoy holding a baby who cues and smiles for everyone.

We can't resist some darling pictures of our growing little Trevor. He's almost 5 months in these pics. We sure love having him in our family, what a blessing!

The boys & I were so lucky to be able to attend the annual Stoddard/Turner Christmas party, 25 years now! Actually, my parents & fam, as well as David Turner family were in charge of everything this year and it was simply amazing. They themed it all around the movie The Polar Express--Just Believe...as you can see by some the pics below. We even rode a miniature train around a neighborhood and at one stop, the north pole, we saw Santa. What a fun-filled evening full of treasured memories, thanks for all the hard work.

Growing stats....

A long time over due.....I really hate mass blogging but I'm going to do it anyway mainly for the grandparents to see we are alive and growing. Yes Trevor is almost three months old...crazy how fast they grow up. I tried to put the most recent pictures first so you can see him now and then back to several weeks ago.

Whenever the camera is out taking pictures of Trevor, big brother always wants to join in. I sure love my boys!!!


Trevor is growing so fast, it's fun to see him wearing Logan's clothes and compare them..as in the picture below. Of course, the age difference of this outfit about 6 weeks--Logan was 4 months old and Trevor 2 1/2 months old. The next question is probably do they look like each other....um in some outfits and poses they do and others they don't. Sorry not the answer you were looking for.
Logan sure enjoyed celebrating Daddy's 32nd birthday earlier this month. He mostly enjoyed playing with all the balloons as well as eating the cupcakes. To be honest, since Steve's birthday Logan has been requesting cake for breakfast--such a goof! Happy Birthday sweetheart!

Here's Trevor after his 2 month doc appt. He came in at 12 lbs. 8 oz and 23 1/4 inches long. He's an eating machine, apparently all the gas pains & colic don't slow him down.
Trevor loves watching Logan, can't wait for the day they can play together. Trevor is learning how to sit in his bumbo chair--I think having that chair will be a life saver as he gets the hang of sitting up.

Tummy time

We blessed Trevor a few Sundays ago....back in September to be exact. It was a remarkably beautiful day, we should of turned and had the majestic snow covered mountains behind us, oh well.
A few of our good friends came for the blessing.
Stylin' babe all dressed in white....and yes he was wearing the same blessing outfit as Logan, but 6 weeks earlier.



We went to a fall harvest festival out on a local farm, a little chilly but still fun. Logan "spud" wasn't in a very smiley mood that day though.

Logan playing a little hockey at one of the carnival games, he was a little nervous to hit the puck--to be honest he's never played or watched hockey so he was kind of clueless.
Finding the perfect pumpkin in the patch. Noticed the pumpkin patch is on green grass? It was transplanted closer for the little kids, I guess.

The only picture of Mom & Trevor that day, yes Trevor slept in his baby borne like a nice baby should.
Trevor's best friend, or should I say Mommy's saving grace....the vibrating chair!!! Trevor sleeps his days and nights away in this wonderful chair. It's amazing how it helps minimize those gas pains away (for the most part anyway!).
