Snowboarding
Today I went snowboarding with Court, Dylan, and Phil. We drove over to Sundance. It was soooooo much fun except for now my butt is really sore. It was only my second time ever snowboarding. The first was 3 years ago up in Tahoe with choir.

It Has Been A While
Sorry I haven't posted in so long. I have been busy being home for Christmas break and with the start of a new semester. So the past month has been so much fun. I went home for 2 and a half weeks for Christmas break. I had surgery soon after I got home, so that kind of hampered anything I could do for my first week home, but I had a lot of fun nonetheless.
Christmas was a lot of fun with the family. We always find something to laugh at, so it was pretty hilarious just being with them. For my presents I got a lot of things for my mission, such as dress shirts, ties, church socks, and journals. My favorite present would have to be The Office seasons 1-4! I am about halfway through the 3rd season already.
During the 2nd week of break, my Uncle Bob and Aunt Shawn came out from Colorado to visit us. That was a lot of fun. I hadn't seen them in 2 or 3 years, so it was really fun to hang out with them. We did a lot of fun stuff, like going down to Dana Point and Laguna Beach, and also riding bikes along the beach in Huntington. We also watched a lot of football. The bowl season pretty much sucked, but there were some good games.
The highlight of my trip though was probably hanging out with my best friend Mady. We had soooooo much fun just being together and laughing at everything. One day we went to Disneyland for the whole day. It was pretty sweet. We went on Dec. 30, so we expected it to be super crowded, but it wasn't as bad as we thought it would be. The lines were long, but they weren't unbearable. Overall it was a pretty sweet day. The whole break hanging out with her was a lot of fun.
Well now I am back up at BYU. My new semester is shaping up to be a lot easier than last semester. I have classes on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9-5:30, with two 1 hour breaks, and then classes on Fridays from 9-11. Going the whole day on Mondays and Wednesdays kind of sucks, but it is worth it in order to not have classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Most of my homework for this semester is reading, so it is nice to have those two days where I can read for classes and just get my work done.
Heidi Kendrick is in my Book of Mormon class, and yesterday she told me that she might be going home for a weekend in March, so I called my parents and asked them if I could go and they were all for it. I am pretty excited to go home for a weekend then. It will be a blast.
I can't wait until the end of this month when my sister Alli comes up to Utah to visit. We are going to have tons of fun!!!

Studying
Next week is finals week, and I have officially come to the conclusion that studying sucks! In high school I never studied for any tests (sorry mom if you read this!). High school was soooooo easy. It did not prepare for the rigors of college at all. Now I am having to make myself sit down and TRY to concentrate on studying. The key word there is try. I don't have to attention span to concentrate for more than 30 minutes. I have to do something! Studying is pretty lame though.
Today I woke up at 11 and went to my science study session which did not help at all. I then went and studied for my calculus final. That went pretty well because math is one of my better subjects. I then went and studied with Heidi Kendrick for Book of Mormon. We got the whole study guide done in about 3 and half hours! The packet had a ton of stuff, but I will be grateful for it once I take the final.
Tomorrow is the same as today. I have a geography review at 9 in the morning and then science again at 1. Should be a pretty boring day.
Also, it is supposed to be very cold this weekend and the rest of next week. It is supposed to snow this weekend. I am very grateful that I will be in California next Wednesday where it will be warm and I won't be freezing.

Thanksgiving Break
Last week was Thanksgiving Break. I went home to California and had a blast!!! I drove down with Tyler, Alli's boyfriend, and Lauren. We got there on Tuesday night, and it was so nice to feel the good old California ocean breeze. Once I got home, I walked through the door and it felt kind of weird. I remember talking to Alli on the phone and her telling me that the first time going home would feel different but I didn't believe her because I had only been gone for 3 months. How I was wrong! It was nice to be home, but at the same time it felt like I wasn't in the right place.
Anyways, on Tuesday night I went over to the Mangisi's and saw baby Malakai. He is so cute! I also got to see Manoa and Coco. They are the cutest kids ever! Coco is so big now and always is making me laugh. My friend Noelle lives next door to them, so I went over and talked to her for a little. It was good to talk to her again. We were really good friends in choir last year. After that, I went over to the Ward's and saw Mady! It was a lot of fun. We sat there and talked for around 2 hours. It was good to be able to catch up on everything.
On Wednesday I went and got my haircut. I had not cut it since the end of September. My dad wasn't too happy about that! After that I went and hung out with Johnny Olive. I missed that guy! His friend Trevor got an intercom installed in his car, so we drove around Huntington freaking people out. It was pretty fun. Later that day I went over and saw my brother Lauren Levu. I love his family.
They are the nicest people ever. His little brother Vai is hilarious. After that I went over and saw Brittany Holbrook and then went over to Mady's again. We went to Chipotle. I missed that place. Costa Vida and Cafe Rio do not even compare to Chipotle. It was delicious. We went to downtown HB and sat by the pier and then walked to the water and put our feet in. The water was SO COLD!
Thursday was Thanksgiving and our family went and played in the Singles Ward Turkey Bowl. It was fun because Lauren brought 2 of his cousins. The game was pretty lame because it was only 2 hand touch instead of tackle. I had a lot of fun though and have a sweet bruise on my leg from getting cleated! After that we went home and we had our family Thanksgiving dinner. It was yummy! Homemade food is a million times better than eating at the Cannon Center. We spent the rest of the night playing games and watching football. My family was so much fun to be around!
Friday was a fun day. I went and hung out with Johnny and his family. His brother Sam just got home from his mission, so it was good to see him. After that, I went with Brittany to Juice It Up and then back over to Johnny's to mess around. That night a very large group of us went to Roscoe's and ate chicken and waffles! It was so good. Afterwards, 4 of us made a stop at Roger Baugh's 16th birthday party. After that, Mady and I went down to the beach again and took some sweet pics!
On Saturday morning I went over to Edison and played football with all of my Polynesian friends on the turf field. It was a lot of fun to play tackle football. I ran some people over, but I also paid the price. Anton was playing, and he has played rugby his whole life. He tackled me pretty hard once, and surprisingly it didn't hurt until about an hour after he hit me! I couldn't put my arm straight for about 3 hours. My sister got her endowments done that day, and after that our family went to Cheesecake Factory for lunch. It was a good time going out to eat with the family. That night I took Mady on a date. We went to Chipotle again to eat and then headed over to Boomer's and played some mini golf. After that, we went to Fulton and watched a movie on my laptop in the park there. A cop even came and made sure we weren't doing drugs because they supposedly have a lot of people that do drugs around there. Mady and I got a good laugh out of that. We then drove over to Disneyland and watched the fireworks. They were amazing. I took her home after that and we played a couple songs on Rockband.
I went to my home ward sacrament at 8 the next morning. It was pretty weird seeing all of the new people that have moved into the ward since I have been up at school. After that, I left and drove back to Utah with Tyler and Lauren.

4 DAYS!!!!!!!!!
So 4 days until I go to the good old California for Thanksgiving. I can't wait! I decided I am not going to go to classes on Tuesday, so we are going to leave at 8 in the morning instead of around 2 or 3 in the afternoon. That will put us at home at around 5 or 6 and then I can go see my friends. I AM SOOOOOOOOOOOO EXCITED!!!!!
Also, tomorrow is the BYU vs. Utah game. Utah sucks! Go BYU!!!!!!!!

Hard week over!
This past week was super stressful. I had 3 midterms I had to take, and I am finally DONE!!! My dad was here last weekend and we had a lot of fun going to the football game and going out to eat with a bunch of people. It was a perfect weekend for him to come because last week I just wanted to go home SO bad, but him coming changed that. I am having a lot of fun.
On Sunday after church I studied for 9 HOURS!!!!! ahhh. It was horrible, but it paid off big time. The next day on Monday I studied for 7 hours. That is 16 hours in 2 days!!!! I have never studied that much in my life! On my calculus midterm I did ok. I won't find out my score until next week. On my geography midterm I got a 98 on the multiple choice and I think I did really well on the written part. I was really happy about that midterm. Today I took my science test and did decent. I probably could have done better, but I just wanted to get it over with.
Tonight I am going to the NCAA soccer first round games. BYU is playing Virginia Tech. I get to hang out with Sis. Draeger....aka Double D! She is my favorite. She is basically my 2nd mom. She is awesome. I'm looking forward to it.
On Saturday night I am hanging out with Alissa Pitt and her roomate. That should be really fun as well.
