Pretty Pink Posh September Release Hop & Giveaway

You picked a great day for a visit because there's lots going on. I've got two posts today so make sure you look around because BOTH HAVE GIVEAWAYS!!!

  

Pretty Pink Posh is celebrating their fall release that you're going to LOVE! It's got cute turkeys, fall leaves, a sweet mouse holder and MORE!!!

My card starts with a white card base topped with a light orange panel and then an even smaller white cardstock panel. I created a plaid by weaving Stitched Strips and then added some fall icons in each window.

The images are from the Fall Holder Additions die set - yes that includes even the "fall" word die. I added a bitty sub sentiment with the "blessings" sentiment and die cut is from the Happy Fall stamp set.

The finishing touch is a sprinkle of shiny pearls in orange and purple. Nothing is really complete until you sprinkle on a little sugar! LOL!

Sweet Friend

Today I'm playing at Craft Rocket Challenge where they want you to use a die cut. This one has lots of dies and NO stamps! Just some stenciled images!

This starts with a soft pink background that is cut with the Waffle Flower Picnic Plaid texture plate. I love how it takes a plain piece of cardstock from boring to WOW!

I topped that with two Postage Cake Slice stenciled images and a great big Sweet Friend Sentiment.

If you look close you'll see I added some bitty strawberries and stars. Both are from the Table Top Add On die set.

I think this is just as sweet as can be! Just like you sweet friend!

Holiday Joy!

Today I'm playing along with at Christmas Crafts All Year Round Blog Challenge where it's always about Christmas. This time you need to select an R or S word. I'm going with S for Stocking and making with the new Spellbinders (ha ha.. another S Word) Old Fashioned Christmas Stocking die set.

This set includes it all and I mean ALL! It starts with the big stocking that you stuff with whatever you like. There are foliage dies along with an ornament, a star, sentiment strip AND that great big bow!

The top edge, heel and toe of the stocking are separate pieces, making this easy to assemble. The banner word die also includes a solid cut out so you can add a backing to color in the words.

I cut the poinsettia flowers from shades of pink so that they wouldn't compete with the stocking. The panel is light pink cardstock with a darker shade of pink matt for a finished coordinated look.
