Remi's 1st Day

We signed Remi up for a tap, ballet and gymnastics class. Today was her first day and I think she had a great time. We can only watch on a small tv which is a big bummer since I'm half blind. I need to take binoculars with me next time. From what I could see she was having a fun time and it gets her out of the house socializing with other girls her age. I think she will love it!

Juno

We bought a pup yesterday. Her name is Juno. We originally had a deposit on a male black lab but the litter came down with parvo. We didn't want one of those anymore. Then we decided maybe we would wait because we still really miss Jager boy and we didn't want to be comparing the new dog to Jager. But really there's not a dog in the world that could come close to him. He was the best. And we miss him everyday. But, anywho we decided to get a female black lab. She is so adorable and so far a really good dog. Her first night she slept outside and didn't make a peep. Amazing. Remi is crazy about her. Mattie, not so much! Hopefully she will potty train quickly. We love her and are happy to have her in the fam.

Fishy Fishy

Remi loves the pool, it's hard to keep her out. I'm really glad we have a fence around it otherwise she would jump in on her own. Scary! She's dunked her face a few times on accident and hasn't freaked out. Crazy kid. She starts swim lessons on the 28th and I think she just might love it!

1st Chore

Rem's first chore is to feed the dog. She really loves it.
And she really is crazy about her little friend.


Remi and I took Mattie to the Groomers the other day and when I got back in the car from taking Mattie inside Rem was crying for "cow cow" (matties nickname) I guess she thought I was giving her away. It was cute and maybe a little sad.

Easter

We really did celebrate the Easter Holiday, I'm just a little late blogging about it. Remi had lots of fun hunting eggs. The Easter Bunny filled some eggs with money and now Remi keeps asking for money. Hmmm, typical girl I guess!

Remi loves her baby cousin Sylvie. Maybe one day she will have a sibling.

New Photos

My friend Shawna took some really great pictures of Remi at the Firehouse one day. They are absolutely gorgeous. She really is amazing at what she does. You can check out those photos here. We had her take some Easter/18 month photos the other day and of course those turned out just as beautiful as the other ones. Check them out here. So if you are in bakes and are looking for a great photographer you should really call her. She's amazing. I'm hoping to have her take our family pictures at the beach this year. I've been wanting to do that.

Girls Beach Trip

Granny, Remi and I went over to the beach this weekend. We stayed in Ventura on Friday and then headed over to Leo Carrillo today. It was heaven. I loved every minute of it. I didn't want to leave. It brought back so many memories. Remi HATED the sand. She cried and said "it's nassy (nasty)". I put her down and she just stood there with her heels in the sand and wouldn't let her toes touch it. It was hilarious. She really is a funny little girl. I can't wait to go back with Jeff and make it a family tradition like my family did. Great memories.
