WORMS, WORMS and more WORMS!
Erika decided to catch worms today since the rain stopped. She is so excited and came running in with them in her hands and saying "Look at these little buddies!" Now, she is counting them & making them a house~ Ah the simple things in life!

2 Beautiful Chapels in Hawaii (Hana and Lahaina)
Hello family and friends~ I have been so busy on Facebook that my blog has almost been abandoned! I found this post from Hong Kong about the LDS Church and wanted to share it. My Uncle Scott shared the same rebuttal (included in this guy's blog) in a Provo Newspaper from Thomas D. Clark responding to many articles trying to get the members to leave the church. I am using bits of it in my 15 minute Sacrament talk this coming Sunday~ Great info. and it sums up the church and it's teachings very nicely!

Madonna Inn Birthday Party for Ariane's Friend Mary
Ariane attended her friend's 11th Birthday party at the Madonna Inn at their new pool. The girls had a great time and Ariane got to stay for dinner and overnight in the Safari room~ The new pool/spa is beautiful and we got to sit in the hot tub and watch a family of 8 deer on the mountain right above the pool as well as wild goats, and cows. The pool area sits high on the hill and a waterfall is carved in to the side of the hill. Maybe I will have my 40th Birthday there next year?? I can't believe I will be forty next year!
We decided to go up to the mountain on New Years Day and stayed until Sat. Unfortunately, on the last run on Sat. Ariane was knocked down by a young snowboarder at the bottom of the mountain and her bindings did not release twisting her knee badly. She fractured her knee and has been on crutches ever since. Her next X-ray is next Tues. and she should be able to walk again after 6 weeks of being a great sport on crutches! She is actually looking forward to next season so she can continue her skiing. She is very good and able to keep up with Dad on the slopes.
