Adalei

This year has started out with lots of fun for Adalei. She started preschool with a lady from our ward and totally loves it. I am grateful I was able to find a great teacher.
We have been trying to transition Ellia into a real bed. But when left to her own devices in their room, something like this happens...Adalei passed out with Ellia piling toys on top.

Then Adalei had her 4 year party! We started off with a donut for breakfast, swimming in the afternoon and a party with some friends the Crandalls for dinner. My friend has been getting into cake decorating and made Adalei a My Little Pony cake (her theme) for the party.

Then a few days later we got our second snow of the year. I love this coat on Adie- she looks so adorable. It amazes me how much she has grown up. She loves her friends, church, preschool, animals, being outdoors and is always looking for fun or inventing it. Her imagination and memory skills have taken such a leap this last year and it's wondrful to see her investigate and play with her little sister. I can't believe 4 years ago I was bouncing a screaming baby on a yoga ball...

Christmas

Every year I say I am going to take a bunch of pictures during Christmas, and then I fail when I get wrapped up in the festivities! We thought we would be spending Christmas alone, and then a last minute decision brought all the Schenk's to us! It was so great to see everyone and just hang out together.

One of the costumes Adalei got- Ariel. She loves dress-up and got plenty of loot to add to the obsession!
We played games and talked and baked and just enjoyed being together- Great Christmas!

Fall-ish

September here is always still beautiful, so we hit Lake Tahoe as much as possible
Moving again...Collen and her family came to visit us this fall on their way to CA, Adalei of course loved having Elijah around! Audry wasn't as happy to have Ellia try to play with her.... :)
Trying on Christmas dresses....Adalei loves getting new clothes and always models them. But Ellia wanted in this time and the twirling began!

Then I got lucky again and Justyna flew out over Thanksgiving and stayed for a week. It was great to have her- the girls adore her and we got to have some sister time!

Summer Dreams

I have been debating on continuing the blog and finally decided yes- So I am going to be doing a massive update.
This August while Grayson was taking the NAPLEX I went home to see my family and give him the time (and mental energy) to study and take it. It was great to just hang out and not have any plans but see my family.

My girls love animals so much, they were in heaven at the Weinzirl family homes!

It was such a treat to having unlimited family time and babysitting! I don't realize how much of a relief it is to just walk out the door for a bike ride and not have to worry about who will watch the kids! It was so great to see everyone!
