The name honors Nobumichi Tamura (b. 1966, Marseille, France), senior scientist at the Advanced Light Source of the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, Berkeley, California.
The Fe analogue of kuvaevite. The element combination may be unique, but is otherwise related to, e.g., ferhodsite, UM1974-11-S:CuFeIrNi, and some other unnamed minerals.
