# Quotas for AWS Account Management

Your AWS account has default quotas, formerly referred to as limits, for each AWS service.

The following quota information is for projects you create if you use [Sign up for AWS (new)](sign-in-new.md). To adjust a quota, create a support ticket. For more information, see [Project support](access-aws-support.md#access-aws-support-project).

The following quota information is for AWS accounts you create if you sign up using Sign up (advanced). Unless otherwise noted, each quota is AWS Region-specific.
