Not Two More AI Products: Two Infrastructure Layers for the Agent Economy

Not Two More AI Products: Two Infrastructure Layers for the Agent Economy
At ScriptMasterLabs, we're building infrastructure for the agent economy — not another chatbot.
For years, AI has asked: how do we make machines better at answering humans? But a different internet is emerging — where software discovers services, evaluates providers, interprets payment requirements, authorizes transactions, and determines what deserves to happen next.
That led us to two infrastructure products:
BEACON — machine-readable x402 discovery exchange for AI agents.
How does a developer discover an API today? Search, read docs, compare pricing, register, generate a key, test. Every step assumes a human. Replace that human with an autonomous agent that must find a service, verify reachability, inspect payment terms, and stay within spending limits. A search result can't answer all that.
Beacon maintains resource records with endpoint URLs, payment requirements, metadata, and observed probe behavior. Free feed: GET /discovery/resources. Paid intent search: POST /discover — $0.001 USDC on Base.
Sellers keep their own payment destinations. The ambition isn't to own every service — it's to make services discoverable by the systems that need them.
JEV JURY — structured evaluation, not AI rambling.
Discovery creates a second problem: the agent pays, gets a result… now what? Is it acceptable? Continue, escalate, or reject? Retrieval is not judgment — and this is where most AI automation breaks.
Jev Jury runs five independent juror assessments on submitted evidence and returns a structured decision capsule: score, confidence, verdict. Machine-readable outputs that downstream software can act on — not paragraphs of interpretation.
Use cases: validating AI research before distribution, assessing agent tool execution against task requirements, routing uncertain pipeline outputs for human review.
We're precise about limits: five jurors doesn't guarantee independence. Confidence isn't correctness. Our nohumans.directory listing is probe-verified (4/4) — that proves endpoint conformance, not evaluation accuracy. Serious developers need systems that distinguish evidence from aspiration.
Together: Discover → Inspect → Authorize → Pay → Receive → Evaluate → Decide. That's the foundation of accountable machine-to-machine commerce.
Truth First. Proof Always. Pay Only for Accepted Delivery.
As agents begin making real purchases — which is harder: finding the right service, or trusting its result?
