- Gov. Abbott directed the Texas Department of Insurance to take action & put consumers first by making property and casualty insurance more affordable.
- Governor Greg Abbott today referred discriminatory religious ablution facilities at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) and George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) to the U.S. Department of Justice for investigation and enforcement.
- DFW stopped plans to install additional Islamic wudu washing facilities after I threatened to withhold state grants to entities operating these airports. To end existing facilities at DFW and IAH, today I referred both government-owned airports to the U.S. Department of Justice
- Gov. Abbott touts Texasâ jobs leadership with the release of July labor market data showing Texas gained 165,600 non-farm jobs over the last 12 months, more than any other state. The hard work of Texans powers Americaâs most dynamic economy.
