    My friend @ubugeeei has started developing uf — a unified toolchain for @flowtype. It's 2026. He believes that @flowtype is the best language for React. It's 2026.
    The uf mark beside the word uf, on a dark ground.

    In the next version of Bun Bigger BigInt
    Two terminal boxes comparing Bun versions.

Bun v1.4:
$ bun ./index.js
1 | const bigBigInt = 2n ** 100_000_000n;
                      ^
RangeError: Out of memory: BigInt generated from this operation is too big
      at /app/index.js:1:19

Bun Canary:
$ bun ./index.js
30103000 digits
    Bun

    We’ve upstreamed JIT compilation for lookbehind assertion to @webkit as part of this optimization! Expect faster RegExp in Safari soon 🚀

    In the next version of Bun RegExp gets up to 281x faster
    Dark benchmark card titled "RegExp in Bun". Top right, struck through: the GitHub issue title "Node.js is 300× faster than Bun at isbot regexp" (oven-sh/bun#5197, closed). Huge headline: "281× faster on the isbot regex." Subtext: "110 alternatives, four lookbehinds, 263,487 real user-agent strings. Same script, same machine." Three horizontal bars, drawn to scale, lower is better: Bun v1.3.14 (before) 32,395 ms — spans the full width; Node.js v26 (V8/Irregexp) 141 ms — a thin sliver; Bun v1.4 (after) 115 ms — an even thinner pink sliver. Footer: Apple Silicon, benchmark from github.com/quick-lint/bun-vs-node; improvements: JIT-compiled lookbehinds, alternation dispatch, prefix factoring, wider Boyer-Moore search. The isbot regex source is faintly visible as background texture.
