Mahara Holistic Lifestyle

Mahara Holistic Lifestyle
is the oasis of Amsterdam;
an urban temple or city sanctuary where you feel at home and inspired. Some call it a shop, some call it a livingroom....
We call it MaHaRa.
About Mahara ✨ Mahara Holistic Lifestyle is an urban templeshop located in the old-west part of Amsterdam. Hidden in the bustling city you'll find an oasis, a safe sanctuary... Retreat yourself and come in to recharge and nourish yourself with yummy vegan food, raw cacao or great coffee. Treat yourself with a holistic haircut or massage by one of the professionals we have in house. Our space is the living room of the community and the garden is the playground. We have a beautiful yurt for ceremonies and organise a lot of interesting events and workshops in the living room. You can find us on De Clercqstraat 123, Amsterdam, on Facebook and on Instagram! Find the calendar of upcoming events here on Facebook and feel free to message us there for any questions, or just to leave a note! But make sure to read through these questions we thought you might want the answers to: ✨Why start a Patreon?✨ We are humble and generous from the heart, and open about our financial situation. Mahara is not a profit-minded organization, and all profit is directly reinvested in the project, to keep creating and growing. We are ready to expand and in order to do so, the base should be solid and fertile ground. Currently we spend a lot of money on general costs and expenses such as heating. We not only want to grow; we more importantly want to improve. We need to take good care of this space, so it can carry each and every one of us. And not just of this space, but this planet! We want to improve in the most sufficient and sustainable way, in order to set a good example. This way we 'll be taking good care of our community, and of the earth. Future plans and goals include becoming totally green, and serve projects we want to (co-)create. Mahara should become an instant retreat spot, and in order to hold this space we can use your help! Patreon is a membership platform where creators get the opportunity to fund their creations through help of their community. With a monthly donation you become a patron and gain rewards! ✨What will I get in reward for my financial support?✨ First of all: every patron (or members) will gain access to all content we're posting here on our Patreon page. This will become a digital platform for news, updates and insights from within the community! We'll be regularly creating content such as videos, behind the scenes, interviews, and reportages from events. A new form of newsletter and good alternative to Facebook. We have several different tiers of memberships. We are in no way discriminating between the tiers and all members and non-members are equal! You'll find the different tiers and individual rewards on our page. More tiers will appear soon! ✨What if I can't afford to support financially?✨ Mahara will not cease to exist in its current form, so no worries. We are not discriminating between members and non-members. We have several different priced tiers, starting with $4 (€3,50 - so the price of a large coffee) but if you really cannot afford to support us now- you are still most welcome!
