Russian missile strikes on Tuesday hit the facility of Interpipe located in Dnipro, a leading manufacturer of steel pipes and railway products, and destroyed a warehouse in the Odesa region belonging to Snizhna Panda, a major tissue and toilet paper manufacturer.

A Russian missile strike overnight on Tuesday-Wednesday hit an Interpipe facility in Dnipro, resulting in four deaths and leaving seven others wounded.

This marks yet another Russian strike since early August as part of a massive assault on Ukraine’s metallurgical and civilian retail sector. The ongoing attacks have forced the suspension of operations at plants that previously accounted for 90% of Ukraine’s steel output.

“Specialists are currently assessing the impact of the terrorist attack and the timeline for recovery, while also carrying out essential emergency repair work,” Interpipe said in a statement.

“The most important thing is that people are alive and unharmed,” the company said on Facebook.

This marks the second attack on their facilities. On July 1, a Russian missile strike hit their warehouse containing paper and household chemicals that supplied various regions of Ukraine.
